QUOTE(gamers maniac @ Apr 3 2005, 11:33 PM) im having this problem with my DT-d43... it can run 255mhz with clock-gen with winnie running at 2.42g. but when i try to OC through bios, cannot boot to windows even with 215mhz with my DT-d43. i have to OC manually through clock-gen everytime i open my pc.. is this something to do with the bios ram setting? its a bit complicated for me.. can anyone help me with this..?? what bios version are you using?

afaik, the dfi nf4 really hates hynix. there are plenty of people who can't even get it to work at all. i guess a bios flash will slove your problem, but like evogenix, you can't go high.
try flashing the bios. if you do not know how to flash using dos prompt, use winflash.

QUOTE(Evogenix @ Apr 16 2005, 08:29 AM) // kianwee : prevent is better than curing if the 414 BIOS already fixed the bug, y XS wanna create a thread to inform the forumer about the issue??? think about it... answer is in there btw, what you thought is wrong... " Evogenix I've already know about this problem long ago and if you see properly the thread created is before the oscar latest bios update. BTW, the problem doesn't effect everyone, some kill the CMOS instead of RAM.

// Mr. TRYING to be "smart" : post #254 means that the problem will not effect ALL those users that enabled 4.0vdimm and switch back the jp17 from 2-3 to 1-2 without a proper way.

QUOTE(De_Cruelz @ Apr 16 2005, 12:32 PM) Hehe funny la u fellas Anyway I got a question and i'm not sure if it should be posted here. I'm running the SLI-DR and I got 2 SATA drives. When I load into WinXP SP2, I have the Safely Remove Hardware icon in my taskbar. Funny thing though its my 2 SATA HDD's that are available for remove??? Doesn't make sense to me. What if I remove my C:\ where Windows is? Yeah, it happens to me too. I read from dfi street that actually sata is plug and play, just like USB. i guess i wont try to be funny and plug it in and out when the hard disk is running.

QUOTE(De_Cruelz @ Apr 16 2005, 07:19 PM) Hahaha! When I installed WinXP SP2 slipstreamed, first boot in and I saw that icon already. Don't think its the drivers. So i guess SATA is hot swapable. You cannot do anything about it, maybe hiding your taskbar would help.
