I'm waiting for Sandy to reach Malaysia. Too expensive and risky to get oversea.

QUOTE(De_Cruelz @ May 11 2005, 08:56 AM) kianwee, i'm not 100% sure but I think you need to run your ram in 2T. If you're running in 1T that might be the reason why its unstable. The reason I bought this proc is to run 4x RAM at 1T. I thought it was possible. Btw, got the Venice from the US? How much did you pay for it? It is around RM1100++ after conversion. |

ohh..... I had problems with all sort of RAMs.
First I use OCZ plat. rev.2 (512x2), cannot boot using default setting. So i thought crap, then i sold the RAM get KVR BT-D43 while waiting for VX gold to arrive, omg, KVR unable to run dual channel. Then I get VX gold, wow, needs high voltage to run smoothly. In the end, VX burn and RMAing now. Then borrowed ocz plat rev2 from friend try to run 4x512 1T using venice. Failed. But can run 2x512MB now using 310 bios. Talk about my bad luck. |

Just take your smartguardian and multiply by 102.5% to get your actual reading.bios shows 12.02 - 12.1... where to buy digital multimeter? how much it cost? after flashed bios, everything running fine... before that was using default 125 version, my pc keeps on restart...zz... |

QUOTE(gavlim @ May 22 2005, 10:06 PM) saw on dfi street, slots 1 and 3 for power hungry ram utt bh5, 2 and 4 for tccd. I did that too, no problem. It is advisable to format if you want nice benchmark scores. btw, lets say my hdd is now in my p4 rig. can i just swap it over to the amd rig without any hitches? or advisable to do a reformat? |
