hey guys.... i wondering...

only BE edition phenomII can unlock cores?

or any phenow II duo core/tri core can unlock it?

what suitable vcore for phenom 9550?
stock at 1.3 v...
is it safe to increase it to 1.4-1.42?
please give some advice..

x2 550 (c3, non be), x2 545 (c2, non be) and x3 710 (c2, non be) can be unlocked provided d locked core(s) is healthy enuf.

my attempt long2 time ago... to be honest, tamin phenom 1 is harder. volt doesn't always guarantee higher mileage...

i knw its about luck... but thx for help.... i getting BE too..

and mind to explain whts the difference between 550BE and 555BE? beside that 0.1 Ghz difference and the stepping difference..

- 3.1 vs 3.2GHz
- c2 vs c3 > this matters d most as c3 means better oc mileage, less volt @ same clock, & according to some lower temp

Oo... i knw 555 is better for OC... but its the same sucess rate if we talking about unlocking cores right? haha...

It's very subjective. Some might unlock some not. But most 555 for now can unlock AFAIK.

Im trying to unlock AMD ATHLON II X3 4th core but failed to do so....plus i oso failed to oc the proc to 3.5ghz like in the reviews ...ive try everything..chnge the multiplier,do the acc...but it keep restart the system.. This proc is on ASUS m4a77td pro, stock cooler, 4gb value kingston ddr3 1333mhz (kit) n CM GX 550w.runiing on windows 7 ultimate 64bit..is ther any way to unlock the core n oc the speed..? can i unlock n oc wit this board..?anyone knows lets share it together...

As bro AMDAthlon stated, different processor different overclockability.

If you want to same result as the review, ask yourself.
Are those hardwares exactly the same one as the one you use currently?
