The statement is based on a misunderstanding. It is certain that the HTC Hero will receive in the next two weeks, his update to Android 2.1. In the update for the HTC Desire remains vague and will deliver an update to the third quarter. If and when the Legend to upgrade to get Android 2.2, you do not know yet. |

QUOTE(yingchai @ Jun 30 2010, 09:49 PM) Dear all Legend users, i got some prob here...when i bought the legend with the 2GB microSD card installed, i'm able to scroll the menu/icons smoothly. But after i changed the microSD card to 16GB, i felt that when i scroll the menu/icons or widgets, it's a bit laggy... maybe the 16gb memory card is of lower Class rating?Does anyone know what happened? Any settings which i need to reset after changing a memory card? Thx. |

QUOTE(Mike3300 @ Jun 30 2010, 10:51 PM) Maybe due to the content in the SD card? Does anyone dropped their Legend before? I'm very afraid when I use it, can't find any casing for this phone. I dropped mine before. Damn sakit hati for 5 minutes. Then go buy casing (Capdase Soft Jacket). Now I'm using armband casing. Save up my left pocket space liao. |

As long as I'm still using HTC stock UI, I'll have the ATK installed. If I ever restart my phone, those HTC default apps loads and I want to kill it asap.

QUOTE(jujx @ Jul 5 2010, 10:37 AM) Read this for guys who still using Task Killer http://geekfor.me/faq/you-shouldnt-be-usin...r-with-android/ For people who rooted, Read this why autokiller is different from other taskkiller http://geekfor.me/faq/autokiller/ QUOTE Addendum: One thing that I forgot to even address here is that memory works a bit differently in linux than it does in Windows. In general the way memory works is you really only need as much as you plan on using. So if your combined running programs use 100mb of memory, 150mb is more than enough. There is no need to clear what’s running in memory before you hit that 150mb cap. Now in Windows it seems that the system performs a bit better when you have less stuff in memory, even if it’s not full. No doubt those who have been on computers for a while will remember there used to be programs that could clear your memory in Windows also. Conditioned by Windows all these years. I'll uninstall it for few days. |

QUOTE(dracozz @ Jul 13 2010, 04:48 PM) Hi guys, hope someone can answer this: Don't think so. You got an AP set maybe? Is SIS Malaysia the sole distributor of HTC Legend? Are they any other companies authorise to distribute HTC products? My fren juz noticed that his Legend has only 1 year warranty and without SIS stickers. QUOTE(ksyuen @ Jul 13 2010, 07:27 PM) Legend will get 2.2 the same time Desire does. HTC says Q3 this year but knowing HTC they take forever. You can root Legend for customized 2.2 ROMS though QUOTE(Narako @ Jul 13 2010, 07:32 PM) no idea, haven't come across overclocking topic for Legend yet. Maybe someone else knows?QUOTE(rocs926 @ Jul 13 2010, 07:46 PM) thx bro, btw, htc legend using wat gps?? im quite new to learn about pda... tis is my 1st pda Legend comes preloaded with Google Map, their version of GPS app. You can start using it already but it needs constant data. open the Market app and search from there, and the software and games need to pay?? or free download? Check out 'recommended Android apps' thread in this subforum. Go back a page or two for the few apps that I think is essential for Legend. |

QUOTE(SpIcYjOe @ Jul 15 2010, 12:09 PM) i wanna ask, i have some issues with my HTC Legend since the first few days of using it... now its already a month and i'm still facing more and more problem... could this be a software bug or hardware issue? go to HTC service center at Plaza Berjaya Ground Flour. Opposite Berjaya Times Square1. the screen is unusable after making a long call that makes the phone hot... 2. When i rapidly click the menu button, the menu becomes the decrease volume rocker where by when i click the menu button, it will cause my full blast ringtone to become vibrate only and start to vibrate my phone non stop 3. When the vibrate things happen, i restart the phone, as the moment i restart the phone, it goes into one colourful screen where theres a fastboot, clear storage and so on... Please help me, should i take back to DiGi to claim warranty?? |
