i registered for blockbuster rm110 last month.
i dont have any homeline, so i applied for it also at the same time.

why for the 1st month i got 2 bills?

the first one is streamyx bill which cost me RM220 (2month bill). this is normal.

but i also get 2nd bill called "telefon dan multimedia". in this bill, they charge me rm75 deposit, rm10 setem and 2x RM26 for phone rental. why i still need to pay for phone rental?? i called TM, and they said it is normal. i only need to pay phone rental for the 1st 2 month only. for the 3rd month and so on, no more phone rental. is this true??

if not true, i will go and slap every piece of TM person at the counter tomorrow..

My upgrade from 512kbps to 4mb was ... how can I say 50/50 . The installer today 6pm+ came done his job but the job sheet was only to 1mb bb deal I was like wtf!! I applied 4 but was given 1mb . What should I do now ?? Speed still 512 hm...

Hi, i just move in to new house area.. I wanna apply streamyx but i not sure my house area here got tm fix line or not.. how to check?

The most basic things is to see whether there are phone poles, complete with black box and phone cable or not...

But most of the new housing areas now are using underground utilities system where you didn't notice any cable lying around your house, so your best bet is to go directly to TMPOINT...

in my case, they did charge rm26 for 1st to month before i get my streamyx, i call 100 and complaint they gave rebate and only have to pay rm1 for itemized billing... thats it.

does anyone knw this promo still exist or not ?

i've been using blockbuster 2mbps for 1 year ++ already
the connection became slow since July, watching youtube videos have to wait for so long.

i am thinking downgrade my package until 1mbps, don't feel like using it frequently. is there any charges to downgrade?

i applied for 4mbps for a few weeks alredy now... nothin seems to be exciting me about the process.... evrytime i call 100 and ask them my status they say its not on the system n that particular person will mail to the higher authority to process my case and mark it as urgent.... been callin 4 times already now... all of them say the same thing over n over again.... now i wonder will i ever get a proper streamyx ffs.... any1 here can help"?

Let says, the exsiting TM Homeline and streamyx is under my family member name. I wants to swtich to BB 1mbps which under my own name.
I did ask TM point for the procedure and found out how troublesome of it. For TM Homeline, the change of ownership was allowed. However, have to terminate first the streamyx account first. then reapply again.

My goodness, I have to suffer for one month of no internet access for cooling off period. Don't they just simply to change the ownership to under my name? I willing to pay pro-rated of streamyx fee of exsiting user if they ask.
and what if the port of my area was fully used, and i terminate and reapply again and found out the port have been given to other. The port may be release to other which is under waiting pool.

This BB deal is a broadband connection right? What does it mean actually? What makes it different from other streamyx package? I am kinda confused with the "broadband" term..

Is it this only requires something like a pendrive attached to the PC for internet service?

BB deal is a combo plan.
It includes a free wifi modem, fixed line rental, cordless phone x1, streamyxzone id and free call to all fixed line.

Standard plan don't have free modem, free call and fixed line rental of RM26/month.

I know what benefits it come with but I'm just curious of the term "Broadband network" as other package is not categorized under the term broadband. Is it just the same as normal Streamyx package where we can use LAN cable/ WIFI to connect? Or it uses a dongle thingy like those YES 4G service?
