should i apply phone line first then streamyx? or straight get BB Deal that includes phone line d?

If can go Unifi, then go Unifi. Just a few Ringgit extra, you get a lot more stuffs.

Basically u need an active phone line for BB deal. If you do not have a phone line, then u need to apply for both phone line and Streamyx at the same time.

i applied for 1 mbps today and i asked for streamyx in a box, the lady told me i could start using by today and do not need any activation or wadsoever. After setting up the wifi modem seems like there are no internet connection. ps, i was an existing user till my bro cut the line so after 1 month quarantine i registered today. Please help me. Hi guys, just wanted to ask, i upgraded my package from 512kbps to 1mbps, and i was told by the counter staff that they will ask technician to come my house for setup, so i'm wondering why do they still need to send someone to setup for me? At first i thought the technician will come to open port for me or whatever it called, but today i open PPS to watch movie and noticed the download speed has improved, from 500kbps (before upgrade) to 1000kbps (after upgrade), so i'm wondering whether i'm already on 1mbps speed or not...

EDIT: my modem page showing that my up/down rate is 2048/512.

me using RM110 bb deals now ...
plan to downgrade, is tat possible?

been using streamyx for a very long time d , juz upgrade to bbdeal from previous RM88package, but i find it other plan/packages(like laptop with streamyx plan) worth my investment, so plan to either downgrade or terminate it!

There is a 1 year contract on Block Buster Deal. If you terminate early, you need to pay the penalty.
Check with TM Point to confirm.

I wanted to know , which packages will they change the streamyx port ? which packages ?

IMO, 2mbps and 4mbps require different ports (from 1mbps) as these speeds require confirmation from Streamyx Installer on-site before the green light is given. Furthermore, I have a friend who wanted to upgrade from 1mbps to 2/4mbps but was denied as TMPoint told him no port was available.

30 oct, went to upgrade frm basic 512k to BB deal 1mb on
counter staff told me within 3 days will streamyx installer will call to come house to install to 1 mb (why not just cap to 1 my directly??as i'm not upgrading to 4mb that they need to check my line)
waited no one called
6 oct. Called tm helpline(100) and get the streamyx installer hp number 019 353xxxx for appointment. called him at least 3 times onli can get and told him there someone at hm n can come anytime.
9 oct. streamyx installer promise come but fly air plane....(without informing)
10 oct streamyx installer come fly air plane again (called him again n comfirm come by next day)
11 oct . came ....log in to sams.tm.net.my and the 1 mb been activated, his job is dome after log in to activate it.....speed unchanged and said need wait 24 hour n left
12 oct . aft 24 hours called tm helpline(100) and say she have informed my problem to the streamyx installer as there are 14days warranty frm the installer....(what warranty was that???i just wanted to capped at the right speed that all)simple as that
after calling again twice to streamyx installer he manage come 1 hour later.....does his mojo which basicly just calling to this number 1800 88 4767 asking to cap at higher to 2mb. and yet nothing changed....before the installer left...it came out with the excuse that it was my phone line problem n need to be rewired (retarded excuse) n if still cannot need to downgrade at tmpoint.....
FINALLY......after calling again to helpline and a smart courteous gentlemen able to solved my problem making some capping to the right speed and setting and can check my modem activity log. And now i got 1mb speed



conclusion, if u wan thing solved , called up helpline and make a report and solved the problem, rather than depending on the so called installer...sigh.........

Hi , zblc , so your streamyx speed using 1mb using the same port ?. And you had asked to cap at higher to 2mb , does it run higher than 99kb on your streamyx speed test ?

is there any caj bulanan RM 26 for blockbuster deal 1mbps? i subscribed to blockbuster deal. 1st month TM bill charge me caj bulanan RM26 i paid it. Now 2nd month still charge me RM26 (caj bulanan) together with the blockbuster RM110. It is TM mistake or we need to pay? My 2nd month bill RM144, this is ridiculous, more expensive than RM26 (caj bulanan) + streamyx 1mbps RM88 = RM114

The RM26 should not be in the bill.
Your total bill should be RM110 + tax (or some call charges to mobile phone numbers).

all the bb deals that come with the FREE cordless phones mean that i don't have to pay rental fee for the phone unit anymore yes?

all bb deal no monthly phone rental.
