I wanted to ask , about the packages.

The packages means the phone rental RM 27 join with streamyx ?
If having a phone line register different owner with streamyx.Can it be join ?
Let say after the contract ended next year , I wanted to downgrade back to 512kb , so will they split back the phone register owner as before ?

The phone line can be registered under a different name, the charge will be on streamyx bill and your phone bill every month will be RM 0.

never really done a downgrade so I cant answer your second question.

So will they still sending the phone bill with rental charge RM 0 and a list of out going calls ?

i subscribe blockbuster 4mb on 3rd of april,, My bill dated 3rd of May arrived last week stating i have to pay 284.67...

i called TM they say its for
1) 3rd of april to 3rd of may - 140
2) 3rd of May to 4th of June - 144.67

According to them this is the latest billing system....

my question is, y do i have to pay something tat i have not used yet?

does any1 else hav this prob?

this is normall..u can pay half of the bill first..no problem..
sometimes,new customer didnt get the 1st month bill,but they get the bill on the 2nd month and the 1st month charge is in the 2nd month bill..

but isit normal for them to charge 3rd of may to 4th of june on a bill dated on 3rd of May? means u r paying for wat u gona use in the future?

I am about to switch my old Streamyx account to this Blockbuster deal thing so i would like to have some points on what to make sure during the change.

- Is it possible terminate my current Streamyx account and activate the newly registered Blockbuster deal on the same day? Since i am working from home 2 days per week so i am pretty internet dependent to some degree.

I have considered doing it in TM Point, Damansara Utama.

- The DECT phone provided. What brand will it be? I learned that its a mixed bag in the DECT phone given.

- Currently i am paying RM88 which is the legend 1Mbps home package but i was silent capped to 2Mbps. Will this create any stir ups in the process?

You can upgrade directly.

If you remain same speed, it's will save you RM4. It's not worth to upgrade to 2Mbps as your current speed was almost there.

There wil be one bill only if u register blockbuster deal which you can enjoy unlimited free TM to TM fixed line call nationwide.
If u subscribe 1Mb RM110 Blockbuster deal, you'll be charge 10 cents per minute for any call to mobile operators( 012, 016, 019 etc...)

i live at kuching serian road at kuching, sarawak.
the shop area which jus a main road across have 4mb line already
but my house there, which is a new housing area with new phone line install (2 jan 2010) don have 4mb line
wat should i do o got anyway to get 4mb line?

i like 2 ask how 2 count the 1 year subscription period after upgrading. is it based on when the technician fix the connection at home? 4 my case is 6 may 2010 fixing 4mbps. or i count based on my billing period? 4 my case 13 june bill bcoz my 13 may bill is still RM88.

my order is rejected due to SNR Margin 17, line attenuation is 46, that technician ask me "how"? i said im afraid always dc, better dont upgrade. but after that i tried my DLINK modem SNR margin 23 line attenuation is 38 only, different modem different test result???
currently port is 4096Kbps, but cap at 1.5Mbps...........

I think you better don't upgrade. How far are you from the nearest TM exchange?

Yes different modem provides differnt readings. I have very similar SNR and line attenuation but so far I havent experienced any problems due to the bad readings and line quality after upgrading and mind you that I'm even capped at 5mbps. Only down time I had was when the exchange server down causing me unable to login.

if a new customer apply for this package,will they tied to 12 month conract or 24 month?tq.
