QUOTE(zieraq @ Jul 7 2010, 08:56 PM) D@mmit....... potent poisonGonna grab myself a red frame kai when I see one Was thinking of getting a MG Sinanju ver. ka and probably try out some painting (metallic paint method as used by prime92 on youtube). But was afraid that Bandai would release an improved version of the Sinanju just like what they did with the Unicorn (well not a difference but an improvement nonetheless Should I wait? QUOTE(jjsclove @ Jul 7 2010, 05:45 PM) by da way, can i know what da surface looks like when apply flat top coat? do it feel very rough n thick like tat? or just like b4 apply da coat? Matte top coat will have a slightly rough surface. QUOTE(Grankaiser @ Jul 7 2010, 07:49 PM) Call me weird but i actually prefer HA Ver Ka over the HAC. Maybe it's the bright orange colors or maybe it's the single-barrel gatling guns. QUOTE(xDarkKn1ghtx @ Jul 7 2010, 08:44 PM) QUOTE(man_hakim87 @ Jul 7 2010, 08:52 PM) Or the basic ARF... In my opinion, Unicorn is never improved. The leg still cannot bend too much like RX-78-2OYW/Zakus/Sinanju.
Like Bro Parody, me too wished to see HA ver KA, and maybe Perfect ver KA too, since they hav it in GFF lines. If that's happened, I'd be happy lining up both MGs together with their GFFs and SDs. |

Not really a fan of bazooka's anyway. Melee weapons ftw
Actually I have a question about pricing. Sorry if it was posted before (tried searching but couldn't get anywhere close). Why is it that prices of gundam's sold at departmental stores are much higher than those sold in hobby shops? Remember seeing a Unicorn ver ka sold for around RM300 ar TRU And I can't believe that I use to ONLY purchase my Gundam kits from Jusco (back in the day of course |

QUOTE(wkyoong @ Jul 8 2010, 08:37 PM) Not really a fan of bazooka's anyway. Melee weapons ftw Because the distributor (Litt Tak) gotta do advertisement, point of sale (standees, wobbler etc) , dealing with big departmental stores (jusco, parkson etc) in consignment term (means they ll return whatever cannot sell), promotions, events (gundam competition), Bandai's request of "eating up" those slow moving kits, Bandai's pricing, distribution, government taxes, and now the new safety standard our government comes out with.Actually I have a question about pricing. Hence prices r higher. Whereas, individual shops, who deals with or themselves are parallel importers, basically they can just enjoy the publicity Litt Tak has invested in; putting almost RM0 in promotion. Sometimes, they might able to avoid taxes too. Therefore their prices r lower. It's like a 40km marathon. I fella "gotta" follow the pre set route n run all 40km. Another fella takes short cut. Of course it would be easier for the second fella to reach the destination. |

Actually I think the Jaya Jusco price is the suggested retail price for Malaysia (usually departmental store will just follow the SRP), while the actual price Litt Tak sold the gunplas(which of course within the price they already include taxes, shipping etc) to retailer I think should not be much cheaper than the standard gunpla price in local toy shops. The suggested retail price are not mandatory to be followed, thus shops can sell lower than the SRP if they want (of course, with lower profit margin). This is similar like in Japan also, where most of the time you can see shops there sell gunplas cheaper than the suggested price there (original yen price). If you want to know whether the gunpla stock in a shop comes from Litt Tak, just check on the side of the box.. those that comes from Litt Tak will have their sticker there (I noticed even shop that sells lower than JJ price got their stock from Litt Tak)All these money spent, definitely they would want to earn back the money; they r a business entity too.
