That's actually the original colour of the Banshee as shown in the early linearts... dark grey with a bluish hue instead of fully black as described in the novels. It's also worth mentioning that the MKII is known as the "black giant" in the early episodes of Z even though Titans colours are midnight blue. 


Having said that, the NTD mode of the Banshee was coloured in black and orangy-gold.
Be patient. Judging from how things are going due to the OVA, we'll get HGUC-fied units that will appear in the "Red Comet", which includes Sinanju, Angelo's Zulu, Royal Guard Zulu, and Delta Plus. MGfication usually takes some time but Banshee seems pretty inevitable, wait till the OVA reaches the earth arc where we'll get the Jesta and then the appearance of Banshee.

Hmm iinm Hyaku Shiki originally designed to be transformable? Just at last minute, the idea was scrapped

oh... sad story, i would really like a transformable hyaku though    delta plus is to look like hyaku shiki? but in unicorn story??? or isit just a crossover by this artist?
