Having some issue with my iPhone 3G. It is currently a stock phone never jb or anything. I was using some app and was kicked out. After that, I pressed Home key to go back to the main page and suddenly there was loading animation with black screen and straight it shutdown. After that I can't seem to switch it on and I can't seem to soft reset it. Any ideas ?
Hopefully when I get back home I can use iTunes to restore it or something. |

Hi All,
Did any of you have the problem with you iPhone 3Gs Location Service aka Maps & Compass? OS 3.13 My unit use to work fine, and out of sudden, the Maps and Compass won't work. The Map will display but when to determine my location it will run forever without any result. It is previously able to show my location even when no line of sight it will still use my wifi or operator signal to check for nearest location. As for the Compass it sometimes will just run for a while then it hang, and most of the time it is just on 0 N and never move at all... PLEASE HELP!!! |

I just got a 3G second handed from a guy. He said it's officially unlocked. and I cross checked the part number of my phone and yes, its from hongkong and it should not be locked to any carrier.
The thing is last nite i reflash the 3.1.2 firmware after that, the phone ask to connect to iTunes to activate. I tried (using my celcom sim) and it said activation unsuccessful. So I directly apply the blackra!n. Basically the phone is jailbroken and hacktivated. The question is, even it's officially unlock, I need to hacktivate it? Another thing, after hactivated and all, I see that the phone cannot get signal from Celcom. I kind played around and tried install blacksn0w and unlock it. So, why do I need to unlock it using blacksn0w before my phone can get signal from celcom, even though it is officially unlocked phone? Did I do something wrong? Thanks alot I hope sifus here can shed some really bright light on me. Left the iphone scene for too long now confused edi. |

@AsuKi : i encounter this problem oso. Error (23) = logicboard faulty. u can try using winpwn2.5, theres a guide that teach u also BUT nonetheless, still ur phone cant detect sim card & wi-fi. auto-restart problem will occur, long-short-story, sry 2 say, ur iphone "toasted" unless u change the logicboard, then its "alive" once again
