I can open facebook on my iPhone on Safari without any problem. Btw im on maxis.

I also have this problem, I think Facebook is doing something with touch.facebook.com, but m.facebook.com is working without problem...
This should not be the problem of iPhone because I tried other phone also got the same error, even if you try to enter touch site URL to computer browser, will get the same error.

Hi, i need your help! My i3gs problem: the speaker doesnt work, the sounds didnt come out, even when i tried to play music, it comes out a bit then there is no sound. After that i tried to call my friend and turn on the speaker, it works! Thats why im so confused, there is no sound/ringtone for the incoming calls, message and alarms. It happens all of sudden, thats why im scared;[

Help me guys, what should i do? THANKS A LOOOOT

No. Australia set should be send back to Apple Australia.

i tried, but still cant:( and now, my phone got hang so easily...... should i restore my phone? im downloading v3.1.3 from itunes..

If yours is from australia I guess it is telco set. So you can try to restore the phone
Try to give it a shot. If the problem is still there, then it is time for you to go and claim warranty there
But if you think it is too far, try searching garage sale for people who are offering to fix the speaker problem

manage to get around the touch.facebook.com problem. I install iCabMobile browser then change the setting of Browser ID to 'firefox windows' then can go to www.facebook.com direct without facebook redirecting to touch.facebook.com. Now i can play MH on my iphone, hope this info help others as well. thks

Well.. you should try to restore your previous backup ... see if it help.

Else, then only restore 3.1.3.

and finally if it doesn't work, then send to Apple Malaysia store for repair since it's an oversea set

My 3-day old iPhone 3GS 32GB battery suddenly went flat from about 50% battery after I put the phone to sleep. I played tap-tap revenge 3 and took some pictures before that. Is this common?

maybe your mute button is on? check the mute butt, up or down side? if down, turn it back to up side..

alright. i will try to be understanding and attempt to help because you are a gal you seem to be in dire. maxis or any authorised service providers in malaysia will not and never honour your warranty. period.

if your unit is indeed from australia, i would say you are in both bad and good luck.

bad luck, is because you need to find a way to bring the iPhone over to australia.

good news is because apple australia is extremely lenient with their one to one exchange policy (i know because i have done this and helped others as well). if you can justify your case well, an instant one to one exchange will be granted. no questions asked provided your iPhone falls within their warranty policies (no drops, water damages et cetera). since you have mentioned that your iPhone is the 3GS variant, it should still fall within the one year warranty cover.

hence that one problem brushed aside.

instant one to one exchange can only be done at the following locations:



i will not attempt to preach on how you can bring your iPhone to these locations, but i'm sure if you start asking around your friends/relatives/acquaintances, you will be bound to find someone who is travelling to australia; my personal experience.

I'm an iPhone 2G (firmware 3.1) user. I will be going to India for 2-3 months on a project. Will I still be able to use this unlocked & jailbroken iPhone with Indian carriers? Basically, once we unlock, can we use the device with any carrier?
