Hi all,

Need help here. My iPhone 2G suddenly got dead pixels. I think because of water damage (maybe). And right now it is spreading at the bottom..

So.. my question is, do I need to get a replacement for my LCD? if yes, how much and where? any suggestions?

for some reason i hope they stick with the same display. it's already pretty sharp, plus i imagine it'd be a headache for App Store developers to support so many different displays. they can't just scale iPad apps to the iphone cuz it'll be too small, even though the resolution is almost the same

really hoping that the A4 brings the price down tongue.gif i dun wan front facing camera, later the casing need to have small hole..not nice IMO heheh

i juz want a 'smart' standby screen. ability to display notes, what time is my alarm set to, and timer counter. these are the stuff my basic SE phone can do, and i find it really2 helpful, especially the Notes, since im such a forgetful person hehe

just the warranty, that's all. SG set is covered by the service provider there and same goes to MY set

erm, it is labelled as 'blocked' for a reason...

the caller doesn't want his/her ID exposed.

this is not an iPhone related problem.

only if it is covered throughout your warranty duration.

after that, you may have to seek a third party alternative (unfortunately)

Hi all experts and veterans, I am a totally new iPhone user (2 days old) blush.gif
A few noob questions to ask, wish someone will guide me on the transition from long time Nokia to iPhone user... sweat.gif

[1]
Got my iPhone 3GS (16GB) from Maxis.
Does it mean my phone isn't locked?
So what's the different between Locked and Unlocked?

[2]
I launch an application, then how do I close/exit/quit an application?
I always press the (HOME) button after using an application.
For example: I open Safari to browse the web, when I want to compose an SMS,
I press the (HOME) button to go to the main screen then tap and "Messages" icon.
Then what about Safari at the background? How do I exit the application? hmm.gif

[3]
While I am at home, I use my Wifi to go online (on my router).
However, for security reason, the Wireless SSID Broadcast was set to Disabled on my router.
I can manually enter the SSID and password to "Join" the WLAN network.
But the next time when I want to use the Wifi network again, I will have to manually enter the information again.
The phone did not save my WLAN information, is this normal?

[4]
What is the benefits of Jailbreaking the phone?

I think I only have those questions at the moment. smile.gif

Thank you! notworthy.gif
