I just bought iphone 3gs.(used)
Firmware : 3.1
Baseband : 05.11.07
Jb : Blackrain + Snow to unlock

But unfortunately, the iphone crashed when I installed winterboard from cydia. It stucked at apple logo. When I hold home+start button, the phone will go into recovery/restore mode. To make things worse, the previous owner doesnt backup the shsh in cydia ( neither 3.0, 3.0.1 and 3.1)

- I already tried to use blackrain in recovery mode - but eventually it got stuck in apple logo.
- then, tried to delete the winterboard in recovery, dfu, and also apple stuck logo - failed!
- tried to restore 3.1 and 3.1.2 in itunes - failed, coz itunes stop signing the previous firmware
- tried using umbrella to get shsh - failed, because previous owner didnt backup the shsh file on cydia.


So, guys, what should I do in this case??? Please help me. Really appreciate it...

any software lie bosspref which i can download in itune?? cause i dont want use the 3g online.. want off it..

If i wan to customize my sms ringing tone, is there any software that can do that, other than using the SSH way?

your iPhone has to be jailbroken (and hence the SHH or any equivalent method)

my iphone got no sound just happened suddently, when i pick up a call, there is no sound coming out from the telephoen receiver, i tot it was line problem, after trying few times and i get to know the iphone detect as i already plug in headset which actually i never plug in any headset, so it result no sound coming out from speaker or receiver, no matter i play music, apps or even call, please help me is it hardware problem or i gonna send it to maxis centre?? i had try restore to factory setting still the same problem occured. and i havent try to restore because itunes promt me to update to 3.1.3 which cannot be jailbreaked at this moment.

I'm having a very weird and weird problem as the storage keeps on increasing by itself.

I remove all of my apps, pictures and ringtones except mp3 and as you can see from the picture, the "other" indicator says its a huge amount.




I have only 6 application from cydia and nothing else, kindly help me on this as im facing some of the difficulties:

1) I cant save anything such as "notes, phone book and even SMS"


Currently im in a 3.1.2 firmware (iphone 3GS) and im not eligible to restore back using 3.1.2 firmware.



Please give me some other options if ya'll face this problem before. Upgrading 3.1.3 will block my cydia usage. Plus i dont have a Mac Platform.

Hi all, i have a question. Is it possible for my imac to pass data to my iphone using bluetooth? My imac can detect my iphone but my iphone cannot detect my imac.

play a song then try 'plug and remove' earphone/handset until u hear the song coming from the speaker. i did experience something like this but not sure if its the same problem as u have. try that method first, if it doesnt work then probably its a hardware issue.


as for the space taken by 'other'...
