actually there's no exact ban la. Just need to pay extra for the appliances. The exact rate need check with management.

Bloodsuckers. Even threaten to confiscate your stuff if they spot check and found 'illegal' items.

Anyway, my room has an electricity meter outside (so does every room that I see). So it's weird when they do these kind of things.

Depends on which 'ranking' you refer to, we're indeed the best. Just saying...

EDIT: The emoticon is not supposed to mean I'm really happily laughing. You know the kind of mock laugh you give before giving someone a serious talk? That kind.

Should we be expecting the timetable for spring semester to be emailed to us by next week?

lol rabbit satay. I never knew need to pay entrance fee until one day want go visit. Tot it's funded by a restaurant so wouldn't be a prob going in for free.

Never been to TTS though, but it should take the crown for nearest to get outside food.

^yeah the deadline is about 3 weeks into your 1st semester, and you need to have your 1st sem transcripts ready (which is impossible because you haven't had any exams yet). So it's impossible for Jan intake to apply for exchange for Year 2. Can try for Year 3 next year (assuming you're doing the 4 year MEng because you cannot exchange in your graduating year).

Dunno much about transfer.
