Hey, anyone knows the market price of LX53? Is it good to be paired with Wharfedale 10 series?
*
Good match. Both of them are on the bright side. What's your Wharfy 10 setup like?

A new unit would difficult to find. Try to PM the list of owners on the main page of this thread to see if they interested in selling.

Good luck! smile.gif

Anybody know if SG has the VSX-1120K receiver? Sourcing for one. Otherwise, may have to import from Amazon US. Shipping is the killer as this is a heavy receiver.

Wow...it has been ages since I last posted here. Is the item still available?

Folks better grab it while you can. I accidentally stumbled on this article and I believe all you KURO owners should know if you have made the right investment:

Buying a Tv is never an investment. Also Kuro is the best tv but who cares. It cost an arm and a leg and the difference is not barely visible to most people.

Whoa....had no idea a simple remark could trigger so much anger and bitterness cool2.gif

The articles are intended for sharing purposes, not for bashing others. Besides, how often do you read articles comparing current tech to yester years?

Don't take it the hard way. Unless of course, one has mentioned that it's a waste of money as the tech would have been replaced by now? whistling.gif

Again, no one said it is going to be cheap and it's an investment as I do not see myself replacing the TV every 3 or 4 yrs. So, to me it's money well spent.

As far PQ goes, I'm no expert but since you have such strong convictions please feel free to raise your point with the authors of the articles. There are comment sections in those links.

Do let us know when you have signed up for it. Rest assured that everyone in LYN will be rooting for you.

Mr lightning69 (Low Yat) versus by David Katzmaier (CNet). Can't wait....... Ganbatte!!! thumbup.gif
