Ms Wong's notes are very structured, but contain some additional unnecessary notes. Her notes are very easy to read though.

that's why you tell them you never received it instead of it's broken.  If broken then it's your fault, you'll pay for it  biggrin.gif

I tell you my story during last time I sit for exam.

So far I sit for exam for so many sitting, I already many times didn't bring the student card, but they still allowed me take exam. When they ask me student card, I just said lost wallet yesterday, haha......As long as you bring your Exam Docket and IC, they will allow you la.

Lost student card not so important la, dun worry too much.

notworthy.gif but i don think i'm gonna do that, will get a new one then since i only started the course, and keep asking them why my card haven't arrived yet rclxms.gif

That is a freaking long path.

Else

1) Business foundation > degree > ACCA
2) CAT > ACCA

Unless he is planning to go to top class Universities like Oxford, Harvard, those require A-levels for admission

Ms Wong's notes are long, I suppose pretty easy to read but if you're one to study at the last moment, it's really not the set of notes u want to read ^^;;; Personally didn't use her notes for the last month of revision because of the sheer amount of it... used it like "a textbook" instead...

One thing I will never understand is why people associate Kasturi with big class size... they are only large when they have combined classes between full time and part time and during revisions otherwise it's really smaller than your average sunway classroom size if not smaller!

I took that path and never regretted it wink.gif it's the journey that counts and also the people that you meet. Alvls is one hell of a climb... Having experienced a-levels and ACCA recently I would say in terms of stress and toughness they are ON PAR with each other... that said they are at 2 different stages in life so it would be hard to compare. Personally never regretted taking the long way ^^

Yes, u are correct. But what I mean was in the exam hall as long as you bring the exam docket and can prove yourself by any other thing like IC, they will accept. I never see any case of student not allow to the exam by the reason of lost student card.

Im in dilemma choosing lecturer for F5. It seems well-known that Andrew Pang is fast in teaching and doesnt teach much on theory part.

Anyone here can give me opinions (in detailed if possible) on Ian Lim and Low Chin Ann for F5 in respect of notes and teaching quality? Thanks

I would suggest taylor if Daniel Ho (P4) and Chow Kim Tai (P5) are still there. Both combined experience can easily exceed 50 years.

Addtion:
Daniel Ho will be also teaching in Orange this sitting. Slightly cheaper and convenient, but may not be as comfortable as Orange.

If ACCA "student" applies, extremely slim (<5%)
If acca "affiliate" applies, possible (5 - 49%)
If acca "member" applies, probable (50% - 95%)

If you are going there with the illusion from perhaps your lecturer "Employers will line up if you have acca", think again.
Think the easiest is Group A firms, then Big4, local conglomerate, then MNC and Banks unless you are looking for low level positions. Seriously apart from audit firms, dont think the companies there know how acca works. Just there for formality. Like their talk show though but the fair......... don't put too much hope on it.

Yeah, all need your result transcripts (with marks on it). They will never interview you there but might make arrangement for later on.
