Hey guys, quick question: is it difficult to book one of the mountain huts on the slopes of Mt Fuji for the night?

It doesn't seem like they have any online booking, only bookings they would agree to are through calls. Will be going there around 6th-10th July. Thanks.

omochi = yes
beer = no (if carryon luggage). You're only allowed 100ml per container, all of which must fit in a gallon-size clear ziplock bag, in your carry-on luggage. If you check-in, you'll be ok for flight, however not sure what customs will do in KUL.

last year brought back 2 x 6 pack beer (small ones) + 1.5L mirin + 2 pack sakekatsu for a friend. no tax. cos did not kena tahan by custom.
both my luggage and wife combined just nice 39kg.

xixi got stayed in japan for 1 month, niceeeeee.... have to quit work la to stay there 1 month hahahaha
