I had the opposite experience. My E72 was doing auto update and making telco rich at my expense. vmad.gif

Finally on the advice of sifus here, I removed the push mail. Now I can rest in peace knowing that my phone is not making my wallet lighter. biggrin.gif

Well...... to each his own.

Actually you can set your email when (time/weekday/weekend) to check email, using what network (whether only in home network or any network) and how often you want it to check (every 10 mins up to 1 day interval)

I set my email to be check only in the office during office "hours", no weekends and when there is no "wifi" around brows.gif

Poke around the email settings in Global or specific email folder settings. icon_rolleyes.gif

guys, after sync mail with Exchange server, my phone configured with "phone autolock in 15 min". I already removed the mailbox, and the "autolock" still there. I go to

MENU -> Control Panel -> Settings -> General -> Security -> Phone & Sim Card -> Phone Autolock Period

I want to disable it, but it prompt unable to disable. Anyone know what is the exact root cause?

is it normal that we must change the ring type into ringing in order for the phone to vibrate in silent mode?
because when it is in silent mode and ring type is set to silent (default) with vibrating alert on, it still do not vibrate.
