QUOTE(lhooipg @ May 12 2010, 11:42 AM) I think the free car holder is not launch yet....as for the streaming video, it support but I did not try it.... Thanks lhooipg.Added on May 12, 2010, 11:44 am The different between Ovi map & garmin is Ovi map is not that up-to-date details as garmin...... I was comparing specs of N97 with E72 and the N97 states 'support for streaming video' while the E72 is silent. Has anyone tried monitoring cctv using E72? Tyia. The iphone is able to do it as I have seen with my own eyes. As for Nokia........anyone?? |

QUOTE(suki @ May 12 2010, 07:54 PM) Usually to access the CCTV from desktop browsers, an ActiveX app (on IE) or Java app (on other browsers) is needed, so no, it won't work on phones. Does that mean CCtv monitoring is not possible? I'm guessing how the iPhone one works is a separate app that comes with the CCTV system itself is installed in the phone, thus making it able to "talk" to the CCTV system. If there's an app for S60 3rd edition too, then theoratically, it would work. Lots of factors whether it can work or not. |

QUOTE(lhooipg @ May 18 2010, 04:42 PM) Does the car holder same as the one they (Nokia) advertised in their web site? To my eyes it looks the same. Anyway it is a universal car holder and is different from the N97 car holder, which is specific for the model. |

I am a newbie and need assistance. My E72 connects to package data on its own even though I disconnect it. After a few minutes, it connects again. This is hurting my pocket! After some time I get a message from Digi saying "Congratulations. You have achieved tier 1 of download" or something like that. Anyone can help me?
I am on prepaid and my credit is depleting fast. |

QUOTE(bingozero @ May 24 2010, 02:52 PM) Yes, it is consider push mail, that what you setting in menu > email. QUOTE(bingozero @ May 24 2010, 12:14 PM)http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1396243 Internet -> web -> options -> settings -> general -> access point -> always ask ctrl panel -> settings -> connections -> destinations (to select polarity of your access point) I have followed your settings for internet to "always ask". As for 'destinations' how do I select polarity and what should I enter for polarity? What should be the settings for email so that I do not enter the poor house? |

QUOTE(bingozero @ May 24 2010, 03:02 PM) You need to cancel your push mail subscription at the in menu > email Thank you. I have deleted email accounts. The package data connection seems to be disconnected now. You have been a great help bingozero! Just delete all the account. For the destinations, is depend on you to use what network type you want when you connect to internet. As for connections, I have 3 options 1. Home WLAN using Streamyx 2. Digi wireless broadband 3. 3G connection using Digi prepaid Option 3 is least preferred as it will make me a poor man very fast! I will prefer Options 1 or 2 since they are fixed monthly charge. Can You help me to set up my E72 based on the said preferrences? I am a tech dinasaur and these high tech phone are sure confusing! |

QUOTE(bingozero @ May 24 2010, 03:30 PM) If you setting this is ok already, is consider preferences Thank you sifu Internet -> web -> options -> settings -> general -> access point -> always ask Whenever you connect to the internet, it will pop-up a message to show you which connection you want to use. If you want advance option. You and create a new destination and copy your preferred access point to it. Control panel > Settings > Connection > Destinations > Options Manage > New Destination. Then you can set polarity on it, Lets say polarity is like this 1. Home WLAN using Streamyx 2. Digi wireless broadband 3. 3G connection using Digi prepaid You will 1st show you to connect to wlan if available, if not, will connect to Digi wireless broadband Now I can have peace of mind instead of making telco rich |

QUOTE(destfull @ Jun 2 2010, 05:49 PM) Guys, my nokia e-mail messaging didn't do auto update e-mail now... I had the opposite experience. My E72 was doing auto update and making telco rich at my expense. when the first time I bought it, once I got e-mail, it show message.. which is the reason I bought it.... but now I have to manual update.. after doing phone reset, I can't even login to my nokia messaging account.. I've re-create account around 5 times already.. feel like want to smash this phone now.. I bought this phone and subscribe broadband just to check mail Finally on the advice of sifus here, I removed the push mail. Now I can rest in peace knowing that my phone is not making my wallet lighter. Well...... to each his own. |
