Dear Mr. Tan,

Thank you for emailing Nokia Careline.

We  recommend that you take your Nokia E72 to an authorised service center of Nokia for further analysis. The service center technicians would be able to rectify the fault, they will be in a better position to assist you upon analyzing the mobile phone.

Kindly take along your original proof of purchase as this will determine the warranty status of your mobile phone.

You can use this link to locate the nearest Nokia center in your area:

http://www.nokia.com.my/carecenters

Please visit our website at www.nokia.com.my for more information and support for your Nokia device. If you have further enquiries, please write to us again or contact Nokia Careline at 1300 881600. We operate from 8:00am to 8:00pm, seven days a week.

Kind regards,

Ana V.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

Regarding my complaints (besides item no.3, which may be due to hardware problem), item no. 1 & 2 only surfaced AFTER I did a firmware update. I have check with a few E72 users and they experienced the same problem only AFTER the firmware update as well. Clearly, this is due to a bug in the latest firmware. I seriously doubt the Nokia Care Centre can do anything about it. My intention of informing you guys over email is that, hopefully, you guys can forward it to the relevant department.

Also, my complaint regarding Nokia's marketing strategy and that early adopters like me feel "cheated" (because we pay more, get less and have to live with the bugs the phone comes with) was just brushed aside.

As a whole, I think this is poor customer service and for my next phone, Nokia will definitely not be one of the choices. Thank you very much.

agree. we need to close all program manually, if not it will consume battery. but i usually open the option for 'show open apps' and press delete button for any running program. is it consider force delete? hmm.gif

Does the Apple Earphone with Mic use on my Nokia E72 phone ? I just need listen music & receive call using the new earphone with mic

Any idea ?

Does anyone update the latest Ovi Maps (3.04)? After update the GPS signal bar is missing, not sure they change the icon or just remove it.

And also the detection of GPS signal is damm very very slow...forever detecting. Don't know need to change some setting or not.

Anyone? Thanks
