QUOTE(lhooipg @ Mar 16 2010, 01:12 PM) The Ovi map is not up-to-date one, so you won't able to find your exact location...you only manage to find the area. yah... ovi maps quite sucky For example if you leave in an apartment said Block E and your house number is 1-1, your area is taman desa or lorong desa......you only able to find taman desa or lorong desa. You won't be able to find your apartment location like Block E1-1, taman desa / lorong desa.... That's what happen to me..... |

QUOTE(zsnipes @ Apr 1 2010, 12:05 PM) I tried using the GPS with AGPS on, just trying to locate my position & scroll a bit nearby me, then I back check my balance. It's already charge me around RM1.00. btw, I'm using Pre-Paid Hotlink. I think data charges are more expensive on hotlink (correct me if i'm wrong)May I know if I use AGPS to lock on the position, then Off the AGPS because just want it to lock it fast only. After that still can use the Maps for navigation or not ? or must ON the A-GPS all the way ? |

QUOTE(Joshua_0718 @ Apr 30 2010, 02:52 PM) Found bugs on the new firmware. When I press menu, and press number 8, I can't go to Ctrl Panel. Some numbering can, some can't. yeah man... having same bug. 7 also cannot use...but on the positive side, tested Garmin and is seems to be working fine so far (with 3D and auto zoom - but not 100% sure yet... need few more days only can confirm) |

bah... I would like to report that Garmin hung on me (updated to latest firmware) when I was travelling from SS2 to Palace of Golden Horses (The Mines). Of all places, it crashed just before the left turn to the hotel. End up, I missed the turning and joined Besraya, paid RM1.30 toll, and had to drive another 5-10mins to make a "u-turn".
(T_T) why Garmin still crash??? |

for those who are thinking of getting a E72, you may want to wait for this
http://www.nokia.com.my/find-a-store/maps-...rebutton_282x43 bah... being an early adopter really sux. phone more expensive, no free stuff, buggy phone (before updates... ok... not like all the bugs are sorted out liao lah) (T_T) |

N97 and N97 mini runs on a slower processor as compared with the E72.
difference is obvious when launching apps like garmin touch interface for N97 and the mini is also very poorly implemented (as with all other nokia phones) overall user experience, I think the E72 is better... though it has its own problems. I think the main problem is Nokia itself. I am actually abit fed up with Nokia This post has been edited by teelim: May 16 2010, 12:06 AM |
