QUOTE(kochin @ Mar 5 2010, 03:08 PM)
does that mean the share price on last day of trading needs to be above the exercise price of 4.387?
anything below, lose, anything above got some $$ with the conversion factor thrown in?
any other sifu can show some arithmetic calculation on this exercise please?

fatweapon must be sweating by now??
*
No, generally they take the last 5 days average closing price as settlement price, not the last day.

If settlement price > exercise price, then they will pay you the money.
If exercise price > settlement price, money invested in CW evaporated.

There is conversion ratio to be considered as well. As most CW is 2:1, 5:1 etc. so any differentiate in the excess of settlemet price (settlement - exercise) will need to be divided by the ratio.

call warrant can not be converted. money just burn if price closed below exercise price.
If you don't have basic call warrant knowledge, better don't touch CW icon_rolleyes.gif

actually the liquidity provider dont follow the closing price to avoid manipulation. they follow something like 5 days average closing price.

for each warrant u get =( final computed 5 average price - exercise price) /conversion ratio

Genting  would  be reserved for future push ( maybe next week )

Currently on show is Maybank.

CI needs to go gradually up, mah.
