There's actually some science behind that seemingly inane cooling method. Raising the base of a laptop (where the primary air intake vents generally are) increases the efficiency of cooling since the fans don't have to work as hard to suck in cool air

Hahaha i dare not try with hydrogen. Anyway, I wanna ask something about the cooler pad. I have been using a cooler pad for about 3 years. I wonder if by any chance, the performance of the cooler pad will drop. hmm.gif

Hi. Have been using laptop for a year. And I don't use a cooler. I don't play games on my laptop but have been constantly doing downloads, surfing the web, watching the movies and listening to the music almost 6 -8 hr/day.

I don't feel my laptop is too heaty but I am asking should I get a laptop cooler ?
And what temperature is the highest that a laptop can bear and need a cooler ? Thanks for the enlighten smile.gif

Ultrabook should work good even without cooler pad. But if you are using it at home for a long-term usage, it's no harm to get a cooler pad. biggrin.gif
