i have a question here.. taylor's really offer foundation in design? because i'm interested in this programme.. but i don't see this programme listed in the website and also the booklet i got from edu fair..
*
The prospectus you got is the 2009 prospectus right? From the last few events I don't see a 2010 prospectus for design yet ^^"
As of know there's only the three Diploma programs.According to the 2010 Student Handbook
this programs will start soon.
Taylor’s Design Degrees (July 2010)
- BA (Hons) Interactive Multimedia Design
- BA (Hons) Graphic Communication Design
- BA (Hons) Interior and Spatial Design

For foundation in design however it's in the list but I don't see a starting date.Probably they don't have enough students to start yet or still pending MQA and MOHE approval. Best bet is to give Taylor's a call or go there and ask the counselors yourself ^^

So it's been confirmed - the School of Communication is moving over to the lakeside campus in May.

Could anyone describe the current parking situation there? I heard they've opened up new spaces, but do people still double park (and trap people's cars)? Also, I heard it's recommended to come early to get a parking spot, but how early is early? I'm really worried. =S

well the parking situation has been improving though still bad and if you check the student portal they posted dates and areas of parking that will be opened soon.
But the situation is still quite bad.Last time early meant around 7:30 and after that you it's hard get parking. Now you can still come around 8:30 and maybe up until 9 and still get parking but with School of Computing moving in end of April and school of communication in May and I don't know when The Design School is moving.... I'd say I'm gonna have to assume the worst and go out really early again until they open up more parking in July....

You should probably call up relevant members of the society first. There might be recruitment ads stuck onto the notice boards around. But the 'official' registration is done on Student Central via the portal.

Either you register when they hold an event like the Orientation party or where they let clubs and societies open booths in the MPH or somewhere else or you can find contacts of the club and societies and tell them of your interest of joining the club. Some you can join immediately some like AIESEC you gotta go through some interviews.
If in Lakeside you go to the Student Life Center and find Ronson or Albert and you can ask them about it,they are the one in charge of clubs and societies in Lakeside got two more indian guys which I don't remember their name ^^" who are in charge of Sports Clubs.
If in TCSJ you go to the ECA center and see Elaine or Shirley ^^

Somewhere in July I'd think.Right now the TCSJ's ECA's concern is more for the March intake's orientation party this month so the date for June intake's orientation party is not yet confirmed ^^

It's Bachelor of Information Technology not Bsc in Information Technology. The Division of Computing is shifting to Lakeside on 26th April from LCS.

Question:

Do I have to be a taylorian to apply for SPM High Achievers’ Scholarship?

Or can I apply first then only study there?

I'm pretty sure you're able to apply first before enrolling.

I guess it's too late now?
