I need to clarify my doubts here.

If I take CAL, and would like to do Computer Science degree in Taylors, do I need IELTS?
*
It depends on your GCE-O 1119.If it's a credit than there is no need for IELTS as the partner university RMIT recognizes it to fulfill their English Requirement.

Your going for June intake right?Don't worry April is still ok I think as most CAL A2 students will have their contracts expiring in June and there will be quite a number of rooms available in MyPlace for June intakes. =)

IT and Computing courses are still in Leisure Commerce Square. They will only be moving to Lakeside around June or so.The Lakeside Residence will also only be completed and have it's first batch of students staying in it on July 2010.

Hello, I'm a SPM leaver. I'm interested in TUC.
Just wondering.
It's worth if taking Foundation of Science for Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Taylor ? or is there any other University or College that is better in this.

And also, I heard Electrical and Electronic Engineering is hard. Really ?

Is it worth or not it is completely up to you.I don't know about whether it's hard or not ^^" Anything is hard just how you look at it and how hard you work for it =) The thing I heard about E&E is about the job prospects are not so wide rather than the course is hard or not.
Foundation is Science in Taylor's is good in a sense you can also still change to other fields if you don't want to go for Engineering after Foundation and also to other wide range of Universities Taylor's has partnerships with but rather than taking FIS I would recommend you to go for Pre-Us like CAL,SAM or CPU to have more open choices on where to go and scholarship opportunities after pre-u rather than limiting your choices with FIS.You could do your pre-u in Taylor's then only decide where to go as usually you would have a clearer vision after pre-u.

Taylor's is a new player in the field of engineering in terms of offering it's own Degree but if overall counting the years when they partnered Sheffield and Birmingham it has been about 13 years but still new when compared to other Universities. Most good points I can say about it are written here
so you can read about it there http://www.taylors.edu.my/courses/engineer...ding.php?id=103
You can also use the Degree as a stepping stone to transfer to the range of partner universities Taylor's have in UK and Australia through 2+2/1+2 pathways or complete the whole degree in Taylor's and get a Taylor's Degree.

I do have a lot of friends doing Engineering in Taylor's after SAM mostly but a lot of them also choose to go to more famous and reputable universities like Monash,Nottingham,Curtin etc which has campuses in Malaysia or they went overseas ^^".

I heard UNITEN is one of the best choices for an E&E degree locally.

E&E job prospects are not so wide ?
I'm interested in engineering. I also interested in those three engineering. But E&E is my first option.
I heard E&E has wider job propects, hm. So which has the wide job propects ? I prefer to get job easier.

Just a note on the job prospect thingy.

Ask yourself just how much do you want a job?
In any field you can get a job the only problem is you.
