What about SAM? It says Jan and Mar only.

I guess it's too late now?
*
SAM only has two intakes per year January and March since SACE is only held once at the end of a year. The June intake of SAM is a special intake only for JPA,MARA,Bank Negara,TM,Sime Darby etc scholars.

Whether you can still register or not for March intake I don't know.Usually they will accept one late applicants on a case by case basis until about one to two weeks after the course starts subject to availability of spaces, your results, the combo you want to take and all.But this is already quite late,if it was last weekend I know they still accept though your best shot is to go there first thing tomorrow morning and see if you can still enroll immediately any later than that your chances are very slim. But if they accept you,you won't be getting scholarships as those are usually due two weeks before the course starts.

i wish to be a doctor. i first selected a-level in taylor..but which combination is good for me for university in the future? is that i can ignore bio for medic course? i am so confused.

i mean is that i choose further maths instead of bio for better university?

well..i got another idea that i am interested in engineering too..argh help...what should i do when there is the option that either bio or further maths should be choose 1.

Research which University you want to go to.To do medicine a lot of Universities would require you to do Biology. Some Universities doesn't need further maths to get into Engineering so look into that as well. IMO four subjects is already taxing 5 subjects is abit pushing it unless your really confident you can ^^"

lol most Universities/Colleges won't put their Fees on their websites. There's a few reasons for that.

anyway on a different note.

Any Taylor's Students who are looking for internship placements or are graduating soon and looking for full-time employment options or you just want to mingle around and ask questions you are all invited to Taylor's Career and Employment Fair 2010.
There will be a lot of Senior HR Managers present and we have been informed that certain companies will have their CEO coming because they are interested in Taylor's new Lakeside Campus so don't miss out on this chance. Below are the Logos of the companies that will be present on the day.

MY PLACE APARTMENT OR PANGSAPURI APARTMENT?
those two are the only ones that are near to Taylors Subang Jaya..

but I haven't got a chance to see it directly as I'm an international student.
So may I please ask for opinions regarding these two apartments.
like the facilities n stuff.

Thank you! smile.gif

Taylor's own Engineering programs is still and that is one of the reasons why it is not yet accredited by BEM.It only started after Taylor's gained University College status in 2006 which they stooped their twinning program around that time and started their own degree.
We do have MQA accreditation and even though is not yet accredited is recognized by EAC and BEM.
We have provisional recognition and is confident that once all the requirements for accreditation are there to be evaluated we will get the full accreditation.
But generally Taylor's Engineering programs are quite good and the syllabus closely follows that of their partner university, University of Birmingham and the University of Sheffield though a few years back after gaining University College status Taylor's started to offer their own degree while still allowing students to transfer to their partner universities now through articulation agreements =)
75% of their lecturers are PhD holders and they have even been given approval by MOHE and MQA and have started their own PhD in Engineering program recently ^^
Our Taylor’s Industrial Advisory Committee (TIAC), comprising senior management personnel from various engineering fields, meet regularly to help review our curriculum and ensure that our students’ learning outcomes are aligned with the industry’s needs and expectations of today’s engineering graduates.
The School has been accepted as an official collaborator in the CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) Initiative alongside great institutions, such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), California State University, the University of Sydney and University of Auckland. Taylor's is the first and only Malaysian institution that has, thus far, been accepted into this initiative, which is an innovative educational framework for producing the next generation of engineers.
Taylor's has also gotten the 1st runner up among private colleges for the popularity of their engineering course and 1st overall for the year 2009 in a recent survey.
Anyway BEM recognition is not really that important right now unless you want to work with government related companies, you want the Ir. title or it's civil engineering. ^^

Well pretty much both of them are same in terms of facilities.
My Place is nearer to go to the main TCSJ where CAL and SAM would be at while Pangsapuri would be closer to the previous TBS building where CPU is now located. But both is actually close enough that you can ignore those factor. It only comes in handy when you got to rush back home or to class for something just 1 or 2 minutes difference ahaha XD
Well in my opinion MyPlace's location is a bit more convenient as it is surrounded by shops rather than Pangsapuri which is surrounded by houses.
So people being lazy it's easier to get to some shops especially at night or something there's a few shops nearer to MyPlace where there might be people around the shop lots rather than walking through the roads alone at night even if it is just three, four minutes walk away.
MyPlace is also conveniently located next to the famous Asia Cafe. It's basicly a food court with a very wide variety of choices and it's closer to banks too ^^
Both are quite close to TCSJ and facilities wise both is about the same but MyPlace in my opinion has a bit more convenient location ^^

well not exactly a new building. The building CPU is in right now was previously Taylor's Business School and since TBS has moved to the new Lakeside Campus CPU is the one that uses the building now ^^
It's just about two minutes walking distance from the main TCSJ next to Subang Square and surrounded by shops.
