The early bird discount of RM200 is if you register into Taylor's Programs by this week's open day. However if you are eligible for any other scholarship, grant or bursary, you won't be eligible for the early bird discount. In short it's only for those who register by this week's open day and is not eligible for any other type of discount or fee waiver.

Better call them directly rather than emailing them.Taylor's is a bit slow in replying emails.Where do you live in Sarawak? Taylor's has a Regional Office in Kuching, you can go there to inquire if you have any other questions or if you can't go there give them a call =)

Don't worry June intake has quite a large number of students like March intake as well though mostly the largest intake is usually the January intake.June is when all the JPA,MARA,Petronas,Bank Negara etc scholars will come in so you might get a class with a lot of really bright students in it ^^
Get involved with some activities around campus and you can get to know people from other intakes and programmes as well XD

lol ^^" well not literally a ferry as in the boat.It just means there will be a bus to transport students to the Lakeside campus if anybody from Subang Jaya needs to go there ^^

Here is the most updated bus schedule for inter-campus travel you can take a look ^^

Depends on the intake not all subjects combination are available for each intake in the two campuses a subject like psychology which is less popular might be available for one intake but not for the other.I don't have the combinations available for the June/July intake with me right now but for the March intake yes two combinations are available with it in Sri Hartamas while it is not offered in Subang for March Intake.

So I got shortlisted for an interview for the Tertiary Merit Scholarship. Has anyone here been through this before? Any idea what to expect?

It may be a little sad, but I've never actually had this sort of interview before. dry.gif

I think it's decided on a case-to-case basis.

Most of the time, though, people tend to get better SPM results than their trial results.

haha sorry about that then ^^" I'm not so good with geography of Sabah and Sarawak @_@ though it's still a better idea for him to call the regional office rather than calling the Taylor's Campus itself ^^

Yeah you can register based on your trial results. If you did not get 5 credits in SPM but do achieved 3 credits,Taylor's will make you transfer to the Diploma in Business program or you might plead your case to the Program Director and it will be up to his discretion on what will happen to you.If however your results is lower than 3 credits making you not eligible for the Diploma program, you will be forced to leave Taylor's Business School.

QUOTE(Hikari0307 @ Mar 18 2010, 10:31 PM)
Hello Everyone,
As Stated I have created this thread for those who are really considering to study in Taylor's University College programs except those from the school of pre-university as this scheme does not apply to CAL,SAM,ICPU and IB Diploma sorry about that  notworthy.gif

Taylor's produced this scheme to reward students for getting their "friends" who never studied at Taylor's before to come and study in Taylor's.Therefore so that both YOU and I can benefit from this scheme,I would like to ask any of you guys or girls who are seriously considering to study in Taylor's or have confirmed that you will be studying in Taylor's but have yet to go inquire directly and register in Taylor's.I will share an amount of RM100(negotiable) with you from the rebate I will get through this scheme.

If you still have any questions regarding Taylor's that is giving you doubts on whether to study there or not,you may ask me so I can clear your doubt and help both me and you by participating in this program.I will try my best to assist you as much as you can in getting information from taylor's

For those who are interested leave a comment here or PM me your details namely your name and phone number so I can arrange a time where both of us are free for you to go register in Taylor's as I need to be present at all times of your inquires and registration as stated in the Terms of the Student-Get-Student scheme.

Preferably If your free we can do it during this weekend's open day at the lakeside campus and if you are not eligible for any other scholarship, grant or discount this weekend's open day would be the deadline for the Early Bird Discount of RM200 for new students but if you cannot attend this weekend's open day but will be registering contact me regardless as the student-get-student scheme is still in effect even during other times so I can arrange a meeting with you and your parents =)

This scheme is applicable for those who are going to register for :
Certificate Courses,
Diploma Course,
Foundation Courses,
Degree Courses,
ACCA Professional level as well if I'm not mistaken though the rebate is a lot less for ACCA Professional level.

Hope to hear from you prospective students cheers =)

Some student also being smart drive camry or big big car come to school showing off. WHAT for? let all the cow see? btw the parking lot beside is an indian cow hut. the fed cow there so every morning u go to college u smell cow poo. The guard there smell everyday until their eye red red.

why am i saying this? TAYLORS DO SOMETHING OK?

well you could come early to get good parking ^^" My friends and I do a system where we take the most secluded area and double park each others cars so we conquered that whole hujung part XP and since it's at the end it doesn't affect anybody else though we're screwed when we forgot our friend that doubled parked our car finish class late ahaha ^^"

They are preparing parking at the other side you can park there when it's done to avoid the cow smell XD
Check the student portal for exact dates of completion of additional car parks ^^

Yeah once they finish the access route, commercial block etc in July, they will start charging for parking. What to do I think most of us will wait until they announce how much will they charge ^^ If we think it's outrageous I'm sure Taylor's will be receiving hoards of complains again just like the current situation when people keep complaining about availability of parking XD

I don't know whether this is significant or not since I don't know much about it but here is a quote from Taylor's for their School of Architecture,Building & Design.

QUOTE(Taylor's University College)
Congrats to School of Architecture,Building & Design for having its Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) prog. accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a leading org. for professionals in property, land, construction & related environmental issues. With an accredited programme, students are a step ...nearer to be a Chartered QS.This is equivalent to having an int'l passport to work in 146 countries.
