Below are some extra links for Asus G73Jw and G53:

2. http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/31/asus-de...op-at-computex/

thumbup.gif Both ETA are unknown for the time being.  hmm.gif

Thanks for the links. I don't buy into the whole 3D Technology, if you have to wear glasses just to get the effects you will eventually put it into cold storage after sometime. If they develop 3D like in the movie "Paycheck" then I will definitely be interested in that tongue.gif

@Viperion

Do you plan to buy an extra keyboard in order to pair up with this notebook stand? As I believe it will be quite difficult to type on if you tilt the notebook with those angles.  brows.gif

Added on June 30, 2010, 11:49 pm

biggrin.gif I'm not into this whole 3D gaming too. Maybe the price of these machines which bring to my concern as student.
*
I've actually tried the stand at Max Angle with a 5 year old Acer Laptop and truth be told it was actually pleasant to type with if you put it on a desk. It feels more natural and angled towards you. Overall the cooler kicked ass. The 5 year old Acer belongs to my boss and I was installing Windows XP when it suddenly shut down after 10 minutes due to overheating. I had no choice to use my new cooler and it allowed the laptop to last the entire installation tongue.gif biggrin.gif rclxms.gif

thumbup.gif Maybe I can try to use one in future if I have the spare money after hearing all the great reviews (most importantly pleasant to type on) from you.
*
Well if you are back in Malaysia I could set you up with the pad at a special price brows.gif

Hold your horses first, I will update the review when my notebook arrives with pictures & we will know if it is a perfect fit biggrin.gif

Thanks for the "special price"! Is my honor to deal with you in future.

I believe all the G73's pilot are waiting for your "test drive" and the result of it too.  notworthy.gif

LOL! I'm going crazy at the USPS tracking page checking my order status every now & then. I think I'll get my IP banned soon from their web site! I'm going to call Ken Lee now and check on satchi1981 order smile.gif

Next up, the un-boxing pictures of my Razer Vespula mouse pad. I will probably post the pictures tomorrow.

Yup. Wearing a spec while gaming is not my preference as I'm a spec. guy too. Impossible for me to wear 2 specs while gaming.  LOL!  sweat.gif

Don't worry then as I think satchi1981 would have emailed him too unless you have some "special hold/relationship/club" over Ken's head, ROFL! brows.gif biggrin.gif

I'll try to get him and speak to him to sort the whole matter out smile.gif

Okay, Ken needs 2 hours to check with the billing and warehouse department. I'm suppose to call him back in 2 hours, so maybe I will go un-box my mouse pad and take some pictures. I have two hours to kill anyway, LMAO!

I just confirmed with Ken my unit will be coming with the 1333Mhz Rams, so free upgrade for me! rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif rclxms.gif

satchi1981's order should be cleared now but he needs to contact Ken ASAP to confirm some details as they have incomplete information to process the order at the moment. Once he has provided the information his order should be shipped biggrin.gif

im going to get blisters on my fore fingers now...F5! F5! F5! at USPS tracking website  biggrin.gif

Jeffrey, did you do the clean install?
*
You're welcome & it was a pleasure to help a forum member biggrin.gif

Great news on the take off, you should expect it by end on next week, probably Friday or earliest Thursday if all goes well. I'm past the blister point, I think my finger is about to fall off laugh.gif tongue.gif

I'm guessing you are worried about the bloatware in the Notebook when it arrives and the performance of your machine. I would advice you to burn the Recovery DVDs before you do anything else. The moment the notebook is past the initial setup, get ready some DVDs and make an image of the Factory Default System with the provided software before uninstalling anything. You never know when you need the notebook to be in "Out Of The Box Condition" & once changes are done you cannot revert back. Check notebookreview forums for more information on making the recovery DVDs and for Win 7 clean install.

I will immediately start uninstalling all the bloatware after my backup and probably leave the system as is until I screw the OS or change my primary HDD laugh.gif

*

Awesomeness.
yup i'll definitely have to burn the recovery disc. Keeping myself busy by trolling the notebookreview website for more information on the to do's.

PS: Hope i can make it through weekend and the following week holding my breath for it  tongue.gif
*
laugh.gif Don't worry you will make it. Anyway my list should keep you busy way after your stealth bomber has landed tongue.gif

how much they charge for the shipping fees from US to M'sia!??
*
USD 149, depends on the online store you are getting from. One wanted to charge me USD 169 for the same shipping option, HECK NO. I had even a quote for DHL at USD 100 but they don't have stock for the notebook and I had to wait for 2 months.

lol.. no need for futher explanation..

did u get any surround headset for ur laptop.. im looking for headset with optical input, if its less than 150 usd im gonna buy it.
*
Nope, I'm not planning to get any headset for my laptop. The laptop is actually going to be a desktop replacement for me because my house PC is about 1/2 dead. I'm working a lot these days so instead of rebuilding the PC this laptop will be very convenient for my work at home and on the field but mostly for my home. I'm not an avid gamer but for USD 150 I would invest that in a SSD drive instead of a headset wink.gif

List on the way in a few minutes biggrin.gif
