Did anyone play splinter cell conviction? I can only set max resolution setting at 720p only. Other game no problem but need to set manually. I wonder why the laptop doesnt set the all game to max resolution unlike my old desktop.

A lot of g73 swapped their primary 500gb hdd for ssd. Shouldn't some of us doing that already?

Update - 

1. We are working with AMD on a driver update (10.8 code) that will solve the GSOD problem (non-ASUS drivers) for users with our current vBIOS and BIOS 0209 and up.  I hope to have a release date in the next day or so but the driver has not reached qualification status yet.  However, it is a rock solid solution at this point.
2. I am still working with R&D on a vBIOS update but at this point we still have random (.03%) GSOD occurring depending on driver set, BIOS, and vBIOS combination utilized.  The problem is that using a previous driver set (10.5) with an older BIOS (before 0209) and the new vBIOS could still result in a random GSOD although it is rare.  Also, updating the system with an updated vBIOS before updating the BIOS can create random locks.  So we are still discussing how to roll this solution out, in the meantime option 1 is the safe route.
3.  We are aggressively working on the missing data input issue that has been reported with Synaptics.
4.  I will have some additional information on the TIM reports shortly.

If I'm not mistaken, the cheapest 5.1 gaming headset in the market now is Roccat Kave. Nevertheless, you have to buy an external sound card for better sound quality. 

hahahah. I'm happy with the speaker sound but i dont to disturb my housemate if playing late at night.

@viruz019 : how u connect roccat kave to g73. the headset need for port for 3.5 jack right?

the Roccat Kave..the green is the main audio..the black one im pretty sure is centre..the pink one is for the mic..though the black one plucked in or witout it..still can run 5.1 since it needs the USB cable plucked in

btw, viperion! i see that u have megalodon there issit comfortable? and in terms of gaming..tat headset sure pwns lots of other headset..but in terms of music..does it sound good?
