Well I am glad that I switched my second entire acc from USD to AUD @ 0.83 rate tongue.gif Not to mention in Oanda, it pays me ~4% interest(annual rate) on daily basis.

With Austrialia Economy growing faster than US/Europe + the stocks and gold keep hitting new high. It would seems obvious that AUD is likely breaking Parity vs USD soon.

Hi,
I have the same way of thinking creating account in AUS rather than USD but most of the time I am playing with EURUSD pair.

Does it affect the conversion each time placing trace on EURUSD...

I am very new to forex. ....

My Oanda primary account is in USD. How do you change from USD to AUD/SGD? Do you open a secondary account? Or do ya need to switch to Oanda Asia Pacific?

Use secondary Acc Oanda USA. I have 3 Accs type, USD, EUR, AUD now. If AUD turn into long term bearish, I will switch back to EUR/USD in instantly. But I will be harder to switch back because the interest rate every day from AUD is too hard to resist lol. Higher than any FD in Malaysia.

Dont have to go that far.. i read back in April MYR is the second best performer against USD. We have some political issues, but which country dont? Our economy is 55% service sector while the rest is largely diversified in commodities like palm oil, rubber and gas..low unemployment and higher than average savings. We wont have ageing population or gender problem like what China, Singapore and Japan is facing. SGD is a good option too, the merger of its stock market with Australians stock market is good buy signal.. plus it boast the fastest rate of millionaires per household. Guess who is second?

You should have done that long time ago when the pricing of USD is much higher. But yeah nobody can predict anything accurately. Tough luck for you. sweat.gif

Just for further add, switching currency in Oanda only cost the spread which is extremely cheap! tongue.gif

Don't even bother with non-regulated russian brokers. Yes they have local deposits and withdrawal etc. What about legality? Go with reputable and regulated brokers such as FXCM, Oanda and such. Will save you a lot of headache.

Regulated by http://www.raufr.org/

My personal experience with this broker ... things like slippage very seldom happen. More importantly, I'm profitable on their platform.
Withdrawal is fast ... technical support is fast ... good response to any enquiries. They have local office in KLCC should you need to see them.
Sometimes I think the technical support personnel are brutally honest. Hahah .. something that you dont find very often nowadays ...

Just use whatever broker that you are comfortable with.

Regulated by NFA and registered in both USA and UK .... why settle for Russian and unregulated broker? Just for that 1 pip diff?? alamak, 5 seconds trading will earn back few pips lor.... come la, i welcome you

FXCM already helped me 50% for my journey to be a millionaire smile.gif

no la bro, USD200 is nothing to forex traders like you and me, ngam? Its more of the semangat ke-forex-tradingan that I am concerning about... if u dont like FXCM (which i can already tell smile.gif ) , then open with some others that u like... at least regulated with NFA lor ... bulkbiz's sharing on the NFA audit findings with Gain capital & IKON shld keep you (and others) consider even more .... read thru the audit .... its damn scary ... THANKS to NFA,,, at least i have 1 thing less to worry

bro, no hard feelings.... i dont gain by talking nonsence here .... its for the benefit of everyone notworthy.gif

add on : oh yah, talking about being a broker, how do you know that? Any of your friends use my service ah? Ya, i help my clients open FXCM account. I hold the trading password while they hold the reporting ID/pwd (to monitor my trading). Zero commission/service charge..... only profit sharing nod.gif .. but i accept only those who can spare USD20K.... smaller amount are too risky
