Hey doctor,
after update to A03 bios the dpc latency is much more better and fix my music shutter problem..
Yours have the shutter problem playing music when in A02 bios?

Now, another things that gave me a shock is the benchmark for SF IV score 69 fps..  shocking.gif

here the screenshot

before that is only 59 fps for SF IV, check my previous post..
all setting is same ..
*
i don't have any shuttering problem when playing music file so far.

are you sure not selecting V-Sync OFF in the option?

QUOTE(cy-yang @ Mar 18 2010, 06:32 PM)
haha.. yea..
is waiting him to online..
I think updating the bios won't take so huge affect on the benchmark right..  hmm.gif
*
what about other benchmarking? 3DMark06 or Vantage for example? or even other gaming benchmark such as Crysis or Dirt2?

its above normal but the temp really influenced by other factors too, such as temp of your room (AC or normal fan), last time you cleaning your ventilation etc.

give and take - its normal smile.gif

I'm bringing my M11X for the trip to Universal Studios Singapore, I'll check if Hard Rock Hotel has complimentary internet access included with the stay package. Will just buy it through Steam, and leave it downloading all day long while I play in the theme park.

Also going to need the M11X to do some light photo and video editing from the Panasonic GH1 and Sanyo HD guncam I'm gonna use to document the trip. A moment of truth to see if the M11X is up to the task or not when it comes to HD editing.

Any lightweight photo/video editing software suggestions, fellas?

just did BFBC2 for 3 hours straight. CPU temp stays at 46 max while GPU at 51 max.

and yes, gameplay-wise it's so much better than MW2.

got 20-35 fps for settings as below:

- details and textures on high
- shadows and effects on low
- AA 1x, HBAO & VSync off.
- DX9 and resolution at 1280 x 720.

will try it out with DX10 and lower settings later on. for now, am enjoying the game a lot! wink.gif

lowest recorded is 17 but that was kinda rare. on average, that's the fps range. smile.gif

ADD-ON:
to add, the game is perfectly playable, except some dips during intense gunfire/detailed environment.

merelly small noticeable differences in fps if all on low hence i've decided to go for all high except for effects and shadows.

here's the numbers from someone on NBR:

*do take note of the min and avg fps.

QUOTE
okay I ran on all lows and not much improvement.. only 1.5FPS gain seen.. updated my original BFBC2 benchmark.

just benched on high graphcal details and high textures.. only avg of 1FPS drop.. lol

edited my post some more with 4 quick runs over the same area, testing out effects, details, and textures each separately.

now from a save point I walked through an area toward the beginning of a cutscene, maybe just a 15-20second walk. All runs are the same from here on down.

detail high, textures high, shadows low, effects high
Min Max Avg
22 38 31.137

detail low, textures low, shadows low, effects high

29 46 37.442
