'Not allowed' or it ask you to press 'Next' one more time to confirm? Whatt type of movie file are you playing? Are they all in individual files in the same folder?

When you press 'Next' a message will come out asking you to press 'Next' one more time. Did you press it a second time to confirm?

When you press next, only sign comes out? no message accompanying that?

Then you have to wait for Boxbuilder to assist you, as I am refering to the POHD big. I assumed it shouldn't be any different for the mini.

I think I told you before, you are not pressing the right button on the remote to display the copy menu.

Clue :- Press the 'RIGHT' button biggrin.gif

Good News !!!! Initial Observations.

FW 3875 improvements :-

BDMV/BD.ISO
-----------------
1) Can now recognise BDMV/ISO playlists. Can play back seamlessly in right order automatically (no more just playing largest m2ts file). Even if movie is broken up into many small parts like Monsters Inc. (Manual Browse no longer required).
2) As a result of above, can now use the 'NEXT' button to skip to next chapter (like in real blu-ray).
3) Can also use the 'GOTO' button to go directly to any chapter.

(Of Course don't expect any Menus lah biggrin.gif ). <== My Mistake ( Update :- Refer Update at bottom of post.)

General
-----------------------------------------------
1) Can use the 'RIGHT' button to activate slider Bar to search/forward (like in HDX BD1)
2) Subtitles are now Better looking and clearer. (Update:- After trying out more- Subtitles shadow doesn't look good when viewing against white background, looks coarse and ugly. Very amateurish)
3) Picture in movie Folder is displayed in Preview Window when scrolling.

That's all for now. Still testing.

The BAD
----------
Some BDMV/ISO now got some stuttering now and then (unlike previous FW) - refer Update below

============================

Update
---------
1) I was wrong about not to expect Menus for BDMV/ISO. There is a Menu (very, very simple one) when the 'Menu' button on the remote is pressed. You can select Audio, Subtitles, Title, Chapter. Don't expect anythinng fancy though biggrin.gif

2) Also a certain BD.iso which had some stuttering on this new FW was smooth when I extracted it out to BDMV.

Cool, I will update tonight and try the BDMV
*
For BDMV don't forget to try out these buttons :-

1) Menu button (Simple Pop-Up Menu selection)
2) Next Button (for Next Chapter)
3) Right Button - For Search Bar
4) Goto Button - Go to Specific Chapter

Also try out Monsters Inc BDMV/ISO (if you have) , Last time movie start from somewhere in the middle, because the biggest M2TS file contains the second half of the movie, The first half is broken up into various small files.

Now new FW can play from beginning to end seamlesly.

Your Celine Dion BDMV can activate simple (non Graphical) Menu now, can also choose chapter smile.gif- If it's a BDMV ,that is, and not one of those m2ts single file.

Geramnya, can't support Dolby Thru HD and the DTS HD MA will also remux to normal DTS 5.1, what the hell is this. I thought can straight away play the Blu-ray with support all the HD audio format, now really upset. Does anyone know which firmware support the HD audio format?
*
It won't ever happen unless GOD intervene. Been a big issue before but now everyone seem to have given up hope already. Not only POHD, it is the same for all Realtek 1073DD players.

means i need to plug out my HDD? can i just connect my whole POHD(my HDD already plug in POHD) using usb cable?
*
Didn't you get a special USB cable when you bought the POHD? One end Mini USB slave (connect to the POHD) the other end regular size USB (connect to your PC). Once connected to your PC, switch on the POHD. After a few seconds, it will power down with all lights off and become like any other external USB HDD. Your PC will detect it as such.

after I update to the latest firmware, I got the menu now and the Avatar bdmv works fine, but there is some sound problem for bd iso
*
This new 3875 FW has problems with BD.ISO (Stuttering, sound loss) especially if you use the Next chapter button or the Slider bar. Problem is worse if you connect to external USB.

Only way is use BDMV for time being until they solve the problem in later FW. I have already posted the problem in AC Ryan POHD Forums.

BDMV plays everything OK.

No wor. after playing folder..straight away the glass breaking thingy no menu wor....or u mean I hv to press the menu button also?? - let me check this Evening.. blush.gif

You only get the Menu when you press the Remote 'Menu' Button after the movie starts. Don't expect the Menu to come out before the movie starts, because POHD can't activate the Real BD Menu. They can only provide a simple non-graphical replacement Menu during the Movie.

If you just want to play the next Chapter (next song) you don't even need to activate the menu, just press the 'Next' button on the remote.

3875 of course, since it got playlist support. Playlist support is very impirtant. For example if you use 2901 (no playlist support) you can't select chapter. If I want to play David Foster BDMV I can't go directly to a certain chapter (song). Now with 3875, I can go to any song I want.

I can put up with the FW 3875 ISO problem for time being as not all ISO suffer from the stuttering (only high bitrates ones I presume).

Yes and no. I expect YAMJ to slow down browsing so I am not too keen.

Regarding the 3875 problem with certain BD ISO , even playing from Internal HDD also got some stuttering but it is much less compared to external USB HDD.
