still not sure whether that 640gb drive have jumper for sata 1.5

should be no prob then... found few ppl in other forums have used the said drive.

sata is designed as backward/forward-compatible

ps3 can only utilise upto sata 1.5gbit but most hdds are already in sata 3gbit (often referred as sata II). 500gb drives included



ps3 doesnt have this prob, so no jumper is needed

i register streamy middle of the month ( Jan' 2010 ), and i get the wireless modem from TM also ...
Pass few month when i online using my laptop & PS3 also no problem, respond quite fast laa ... ( very smooth when i playing RE5 or MW2 )
no hang no lag nothing problem ...
But start from this few days .... bad dream come !!
i can log in to my PSN account . but when i go to PS store, even have to wait few mins to load a picture also cant ... hard to load !!!
And also cant download DEMO anymore... it hang !!
And also when i playing MW2... i connect 10 times also failed 9 sometime only 1 or 2 times can play only ... )
i notice that my streamyx services become very very slow...
( i still not paying for 2 month bill yet ... wait for salary ... )
do u guy think because of that TM will slow down my services ??
i already ask people in forum...
some of them said even they never pay for 3 month also no problem 1 ... still can jalan ...
some of them said now TM change to HSBB ... so all user line will slow down...
Now my situation is not only my PS3 kena...
even my laptop open FACEBOOK also very slow slow slow...
i try to restart my wireless modem ... still same !!
i try to direct use LAN cable connect with PS3 and Laptop ... same !!

GuysssS.... any solution ??
Did u guy faces this kind of problem also ??
Who i should contact ?? what can i do ??

streamyx do slowdown from time to time, due to throttling or network congestion etc

thats why we become frustrated because of it.

also depends on what ip are you getting too

Guys I am having some problem wif my ps3. When ever I on my ps3, all my PC at home can't online but when off it, it becomes fine wats the problem ar?

maybe there's conflict in ip address? have you try manual ip address allocation in the router? wired/wireless setup?

i buy at normal store...how do i select the shop when registering? its not in the list??

i keep resetting my router until i get good ip address.

Since my belkin router have reset function at its status page, it will power down for a minute and restart.

each ip address you can try login whether its fast loading or not, including trying out game online.

I manage to fix mine by setting Upnp to disable.

Well, our asia region PS3 default is "O" so if u wan, can go find US region or PAL (think same) PS3. Their default is "X"

the thing is, how come these 2 accounts dont have the content of renting or buying movies (netflix) like all the advertisements they shown and also the website they posted??

unless you are connecting using a USA IP (direct, VPN, proxy, etc), you are off limits of those contents.

what's the difference? i know DLC difference... but i see people going for GOTY version... why is that?
