Diesel is the cheapest, just don't use it on painted part.

one stupid question... if I used engine degreaser, then i need to rinse it off with water right??? or is there any specific type that dont need to be rinsed off with water???

Never use degreaser before, but diesel no need to rinse of. It just vaporized.

Go to some service centre or repair shop. they have the spray gun thing. they put one can of petrol inside, then spray ur car.. then flush with water.. they use the air gun to dry it..they spilt oil on my engine there, i see them clean this way

i'm trying to avoid water rinse or flush in the engine compartment... i think i can deal with wiping out the remains of the degreaser with damp cloth or even wet cloth... but applying water directly to the surface, i'm avoiding it...

as far as i know, out CPS engine have a lot of sensors and electronics and from my experience, electronics + water is a very no no... it only take one water droplet to damage whole circuit.
