QUOTE(ali_wng @ Feb 18 2010, 10:57 AM) IMO it really not advisable to do engine wash at carwash because:-using high pressure water as it may sips through the electronics connector -they didn't wait for the engine to cool off first What I usually did was just wipe using damp cloth soaked with concentrated dishwasher. |

Bad luck today, my driver side mirror being hit and smash by a lorry (WFB7507) and also cause some deep scratches. The lorry driver just drove away (I suspect he's trying to ran away since he's driving faster than before). Already made a police report. Tomorrow will go to JPJ to get the details and bring it to the police station so they can issued a summon.

Anyone knows how much it cost to spray my side mirror (1 side) to the body colour? The replacement comes in flat black.

Better we wait until we all get the stickers before we decide. I prefer a discrete place where only members can easily spot.

QUOTE(singchaii @ Feb 27 2010, 09:51 PM) How sure can you clarify that castrol is better interms of taking care of internals of the engine? How could the engine oil make the engine vibration? But interm of engine performance, Castrol Edge > Helix Ultra > Mobil 1. I've used all 3 of them. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Before this I've always use Castrol Magnetec for my LMST and bike. Bu for bike, the best I've used is Motul. QUOTE(mrl @ Feb 28 2010, 01:45 AM) how much is the Castrol Edge? the grade? I was thinking of using Castrol Magnatec, but the retailer said Shell Helix is better... not sure which one is better... RM160+Puma sling bag, 5W40 (if not mistaken).QUOTE(TripleJ104 @ Feb 28 2010, 12:41 PM) Sorry cerita panjang, merepek pulak tu, but my question is Castrol Magnatec are not good e-nuff to cps engine? I'm also planning using magnatec when i get my hand on waja cps. But of course after 3 time service. Or should i consider using fully syn oil? and how we should evaluate engine oil that can suit us? Can't really say that semi syn is not good enough but when you redlining the rpm, you will feel it lacks ummmppphhh (maybe its just me). Sory if i shown my 'lack of knowlegde' in car engine. Thank u in advance. |
