Called them an hour ago and got the same story. They still cannot commit the delivery date. As of today they are 8 days late for my delivery, and my insurance/road tax oredi 10 days running like meter while it sits in their yard.

Don't just take your SA's word for it. Ask him if they are still barred from their stockyard. Sometimes its easier for them to promise you a date and then break it later than answer a tough question. I found it out the hard way.

Added on April 23, 2010, 4:20 pmThe Saga 1.6 (S) MT is available for booking, according to the Proton Edar website.

Go to the main site, click on showroom, then on Saga, then you get 4 choices. Book 1.3 (S) SE, Book 1.6 (S) MT, Book M-Line, Book B-Line.

However... I asked one SA and he told me there's no such thing except for taxi. Then why is it still on the website... he couldn't answer me.
*
last time u can buy it but now im not sure, i heard the saga 1.6 is sold out or they stop selling it already.

maybe u need to call proton customer support to clarify this

Just now I went to the SC to find the source of the noise. It turned out to be the fan. They said previous models got 2 fans, 1 for radiator, 1 for aircon. Now there's only 1 fan for both. It spins harder so its louder, and they said this noise is normal for BLM. Wah, to me it sounds like a bad alternator. Oh well...
*
wow..cut cost. but i dun understand, older model u mean saga lmst? or older batch of saga blm..

well, you can add soundproofing later

Pman, for manual car, it seems alright, but for auto trans, its not really good to your transmission life

while waiting at the traffic light, either N or P will do. N is good enough

you can ask him to check. but there is no need to replace it unless it faulty.

hmmmpffff if Proton can't even get something as basic as fuel sensor right, then it's kinda wrong. Still wish BLM came with a conventional fuel display system (ie. the analog one)
*
electronics do have more failure rate than mechanicle ones. but they are cost effective.

even with an analog display, it doesnt mean it will accurately display the fuel level. it just a piece of 'sponge' floating on the fuel to track the level.
