i service at EON shah alam. can you list out the service items? i guess u have power steering and radiotor coolant service?
Added on April 6, 2010, 1:50 pm QUOTE(giveme5 @ Apr 6 2010, 01:14 PM) xshiro, oh, 60k km. will check it in my next service listcould it be the fuel filter is optional or they just buat tak tau? but even our service manual did state to change fuel filter at 60k under major service. you could request for them in your next service perhaps? QUOTE(joexoll @ Apr 7 2010, 12:51 PM) Hi, ya i just changed my battery too..after 1 and half year, it still ok but like u said, might last for few months only. i just did my 10k service and the service centre guy said, blm battery can use just for one and half year. Currently my car is 1year ++ and he did the test on my car's battery and said my battery can tahan for about 4@5month only now. then if the battery is out, we cant start the engine at all coz blm using dry battery..huhuu... ermm do anyone here know where i can get just like this handbrake lock?? Added on April 7, 2010, 9:04 pm QUOTE(someone_stupid @ Apr 7 2010, 05:16 PM) highway? nice fc broAdded on April 7, 2010, 9:06 pm QUOTE(Enclave Recruit @ Apr 7 2010, 08:55 PM) True. yes, both ecu and gearbox(auto) have self adapt capability. That said, fuel consumption also depends somewhat on your right foot. The longer you drive the car, the better your throttle control becomes. This post has been edited by xshiro: Apr 7 2010, 09:07 PM |

QUOTE(Beastboy @ Apr 12 2010, 11:32 PM) Hi, has anyone here done any soundproofing for their BLM? I hear the Saga noise level is a bit high compared to Myvi. Any recommendations about budget soundproofing? Not DIY type but with installation for the complete set with engine bay, door and roof treatment. u can start with doors, bonnet soundproofing wont do much. if u check in garage sales, there is a package of installing 2 layers, bitumen and absorbing material for less than 300.I'm due to pick up my new black M-line manual this Thursday. A quieter ride will be my first priority. Also, can anybody recommend a place that will accept trade in for M-line stock player (non-mp3) to mp3 player? How much they will they charge extra? I am in Petaling Jaya. TQ. i heard u can trade in ur HU for about rm100 Added on April 13, 2010, 1:59 pm QUOTE(Beastboy @ Apr 13 2010, 09:07 AM) coolkwc, thanks! I'll try first then. Regarding tyres, I heard that 15" rim gives the best FC. Any truth in that? it is related to weight, most ppl would upgrade the rim from 14 or 13 inch to 15 inch for better look but also stay safe in FC and performance. anything bigger like 16 inches also ok, but the added weight will affect fc/performance and mostly the tire will be quite low profile and pricey and probably will scrap ur inner side of your fender / wheel arch everytime you do u-turnAdded on April 13, 2010, 2:01 pm QUOTE(Invader Zim @ Apr 12 2010, 10:34 PM) list updated. QUOTE(jacksonywl @ Apr 15 2010, 10:47 PM) really? alright. I was so scared that if I am to drive long distance tomorrow my car will break down half way due to overheat = = no problem, as long as it never exceeds the 3rd tempreture bar...Added on April 15, 2010, 11:52 pm QUOTE(modben @ Apr 15 2010, 10:48 PM) arrggh help i cannot decide whether i want 195/50 tires or 185/55 tires on a +38 offset rim :/ and i really love the lenso's ;( u can do fender rollingbloody 185/55 got so little choice of tires think i will only get the pp2 or ps3 cause i hate the nct5, but both also cost 200+ aiyo. if 195/50 pulak scared will scrub, but then again i dont really fetch alot of people most of the time only me and once in awhile 1 or 2 passengers, but the occasional full load also ada. dilemma la ni haiyo, smokey tolong! will upgrading stiffer abs solve the problem of scrubbing? anyone knows? but 195/50 is quite safe. dun worry. QUOTE(tHe^CuLpRit @ Apr 18 2010, 12:57 PM) thanks Arfaie... persona has better engine, and better suspension.I'm considering either the Saga M-line vs Persona B-line (both auto) Another thing about the Saga M-line, does the front engine lid comes with a cover? I'm also wondering if the Persona B-line comes with this lid, since the option list shows it does not have the "trunk lid cover"... wonder if this is the boot or the front lid? |

QUOTE(yngwie @ Apr 19 2010, 08:09 PM) engine wise, it still a campro. albeit, 1.6 multilink but much better suspension setup as in multi-link rear suspension with all round stabilizer bar. thus translates in better handling in corner. btw, persona is better looking with softer door closing sound too |

QUOTE(Beastboy @ Apr 21 2010, 03:58 PM) 6 days after the committed delivery date, still no sign of my m-line. I went to see my SA's boss face to face just now for explanation. He said there are some major, major problems with delivery and they have no idea when it will be fixed. Apparently they kena tiau by many customers about the delay. If you plan to buy a proton, please ask them if they've solved the delivery system problem before you pay. Otherwise you end up like me. yes, my friend too cancelled the booking and changed to myvi because of the long waiting list. If you know anyone who had taken delivery of a BLM these few days, please share which branch of Proton Edar the car was delivered from because I'm still trying to find out if its true or not about the whole country having problem with the stockyard and nothing can be delivered since last week. Really disappointed. I should have listened to my instincts and gone for a Myvii. so i understand, its kinda frustating regarding the car delivery This post has been edited by xshiro: Apr 21 2010, 04:14 PM |
