Thanks for ur info..but i think semi syn oil is not better enough...but is fully syn..the price is RM180 for Petronas Syntium 1000..the grade is same like 800..15w50..i really duno how...tis is my 1st car...and i wan it to get the best for it..but..my pocket sure will heavily damage if use Syntium 1000 =.="

my tips to prevent those stupid guys from scratching ur car:

dont wash ur car.let it look dirty.if u make it too shiny (new paint) then it will attract those stupid people.

Yes, when I asked a different SA he said that the company didn't update their website becoz they stop selling it oredi. Honestly for the advertised price of 39k (basic, manual) it is a good deal to get 1.6+DOHC at that price. It might even give better FC than 1.3. I don't understand why they stopped selling it.

Have they bought insurance & road tax for your car yet? If yes, then you rugi ~$4 a day for every day they didn't deliver to you. That's what happened in my case. So means if they delay 1 month, then my insurance/rd tax only usable for 11 months. Wtf.

Comparing with Wira, when my BLM manual goes 80km/h on 5th gear, engine is 2500 rpm.

For Wira 1.5 manual, at same speed/gear, engine is only 1800-2000 rpm.

Ok different engine & gear ratios, understood, but it also means BLM engine must turn 20-30% faster to achieve same speed as Wira. Its like a jogger with short legs have to run harder to keep up with the jogger with long legs. Might this be why FC is not as good as ppl expect, compared to Wira/Iswara?

What modifications have you done to improve FC, and do they work?

Or would you like to share about what modification *doesn't* work? (I heard those fuel line magnets are a waste of money, dunno true or not.)

Actually my SA went thru hell to get it. Because the so-called new system jammed everything, he had to drive a long distance to the yard and find my car by hand. There were about 10,000 cars in the yard he said and it was a hot day. I hope they fix that damn system soon.
The first tank I filled up to 4 notches. Traveled 50km @ about 60-70km/h and it went down to 3 notches. That's crazy. Wonder if removing the spare tyre will have any impact on FC.

Just now I went to the SC to find the source of the noise. It turned out to be the fan. They said previous models got 2 fans, 1 for radiator, 1 for aircon. Now there's only 1 fan for both. It spins harder so its louder, and they said this noise is normal for BLM. Wah, to me it sounds like a bad alternator. Oh well...

I used to think blm is smaller than the old Saga, even though the brochure said its a bit bigger. And then I took this photo.

yea.. i fill after warnin light came out.. but is stop itself at about rm50.xx
when i start my engine.. the indicator go up fast but the highest bar seems a bit longer to lit..
i drive about 30km only.. already drop 1 bar.. is tat normal?

aik my first 3 bar takes me to 200km then the last few bars drop very dramatic one.. like until 280 lights on d.. but if i keep driving on, the light will off and on again like few km later.. weird @.@

Myth busted lar, some people claim can go more than 60KM after the warning light came out n blinking.
Hmm i cant remember exactly how much but i pumped back half tank only coz didnt bring enuff money.
Anways, 53KM after the warning light start blinking. I resetted the meter right after it started blinking.

I remember driving on the way to Penang and after gunung something, my light came on but there was no more petrol station!
then i drove like 80-90 all the way until I reach near Penang got one petrol station and pump. about 100km with the light on! damn scary~
it was my first time i reach 400km+ for full tank

my alarm system won't stop beeping, i don't know whats wrong, all the doors are in shut tight, it only stops whenever i turn the ignition to on position or start the engine.

but when im there asking them to check they said nothing...darn

Mine is manual and yeah its damn noisy at 4k rpm, but that is where the oomph starts...at least can insulate sound at 120kmh ok la but at stock sits untolerable

New owner here. Just got it today. Silver, M line, Manual.
So far so good. Just got a scratch on the tint at the back door and small scratch on the left fender. Left back door can't close properly. Need to slam harder. =.=''
Overall quality wise...u get what u pay for...

Kinda weird driving this manual than others...don't now how to explain but feels odd.

Got a couple of questions:
1) It is kind of hard to get into second gear. Anyone got this problem before?

2) What psi/kpa should i pump the tire? I went to pump just now, the original pressure was 250kpa for front and back..then i check the car back seat, it states front 210kpa, back 190kpa.
Tried following the stated car pressure...saw the tire started to flatten...then pump back 245....haha

suggest dun insulate firewall area as said here, if not done properly your dashboard will rattle and will void warranty also.

my auto max can go is 175 km - melaka to jb under 1hr 10mins , melaka to kl under 40mins

fc is damn bad at this speed
if i drive at 90~100km/h average can get 450KM = RM50

brand new for that price low end viva will be a good choice
second hand its not worth it to grab a kelisa or kenari

imo 120-130 is the best cruising speed, but if pecut 160 also ok.

A few weeks ago I had a problem with petrol smell coming into my cabin. Went to the SC, they said they couldn't find anything wrong but tightened something in the engine & the smell went away for a couple of days. Now its back. Anybody got any idea what could cause petrol smell inside your car?

My odo is about 600km, not even 1st service yet & got all these problems, haih...
