hey xm... wanna give u a silly question - by doing a hard-reset, the firmware (upgraded to v4) won't be downgraded, am i right? it'll just wipe the phone setting clean, right?

I'm aware of this problem, thus my messages are all stored in phone memory. Mind to share how many messages you have atm?

I noticed all my photo taken have a green tint on left side recently, but taking video seem to be ok, anyone with this problem?

Em...crap...have to backup everything then, another question, anyone try backup and restore with ovi suite? Will the sms still intact after restored?

i normally use nokia pc suite... works like a charm for ur contacts, smses, calendar & also notes... but been wanting to try ovi though... maybe later lah...

did u check your settings for the camera? maybe its just some settings problem.

u using the gel case? remove it n snap a picture without it...

That's the problem, I use pc suite do backup b4, but everytime also got problem restore sms, it just wont be restored....that's why I switch to ovi suite, never use it to do restore yet cos afraid to lost the sms.

I never specifically change setting for my camera, just use default value, so should not be a setting problem.

I don't use a gel case, just camera len protector, but the problem just show up recently, previously no problem with the len protector on.... anyway will give it a try...thanks guy.

is phoenix compatible with win7?

Hi, I have green and black stripes on the RIGHT side of the pictures lol. And hard/soft reset won't work. I think it happened after the firmware update. And yes, there's no problem with video, only camera mode.

xploit, do u have other link for CFW (v40 + hacked ROM). seems i cant download from that link. i dont know why

I notice a little bit of lagging when my messages hit hundreds. Never save until 1k yet tho. I always clear them to speed things up again.

Soft Reset
- Reverts system files to original a.ka factory settings.
- Any changes made to system files will be override.
- Any applications related to system file configurations will fail to work.
- Most standalone applications will work without any problems.
- Memory card data still intact.

Hard Reset
- Full format (brings ure fone as fresh as first time bought.
- Resets system information, such as time / date / location /user data etc.
- All user data and system data will be wiped off completely, including System, Contacts, Messages, Settings etc.
- Memory card data still intact.

Just use the internal Nokia File Manager backup, for Contacts, Messages & Bookmarks only .. dont backup Settings and Userfiles ..

have tried snap pic without rear case cover? just to check if it is lens or casing .. i doubt its flash light leak
