this conversation reminded me on something - initially, my tube runs under 3.5g (celcom), but after updating to v4, the indicator indicates that the line is under 3g ONLY... not 3.5g anymore. not really a problem for me, but can't help wondering what was changed with v4... hmmmm... hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

maybe... but kinda doubting it. my house is like damn near to the celcom relay tower... less than 100 metres... last time, it will always be under 3.5g, u know. blush.gif

another thing - the indicator will indicates '3.5g' ONLY when i send out mms. it will briefly be under 3.5g until the mms is sent out... then, will revert back to 3g. funny... tongue.gif

anyone facing the wireless WLAN is intermittent detect WLAN service in the WiFI area?

right now i am sitting in the floor that cover with WiFi signal, the HP laptop detected the signal strength 75%-100% (majo time FULL bar), however the 5800xm wireless intermittently detect the signal.

i) how to fix it or optimize the setting to get better signal?

ii) if i do need setup SDID "guest", how to set it in my 5800xm?

no wonder u got no coverage... u're sitting IN the floor... try sitting ON the floor... I believe it might help... tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Soft Reset
- Reverts system files to original a.ka factory settings.
- Any changes made to system files will be override.
- Any applications related to system file configurations will fail to work.
- Most standalone applications will work without any problems.
- Memory card data still intact.

Hard Reset
- Full format (brings ure fone as fresh as first time bought.
- Resets system information, such as time / date / location /user data etc.
- All user data and system data will be wiped off completely, including System, Contacts, Messages, Settings etc.
- Memory card data still intact.
Just use the internal Nokia File Manager backup, for Contacts, Messages & Bookmarks only .. dont backup Settings and Userfiles ..
have tried snap pic without rear case cover? just to check if it is lens or casing .. i doubt its flash light leak  hmm.gif
*
xm,

hard reset - phone will be virgin again, but the upgreded (v4) will not be downgraded, right? blink.gif blink.gif

xm... referring to your guide on how to prevent credit draining issue - if i were to delete ALL streaming profile & just leave 'wifi' for internet access point, wouldn't that affect a-gps? as we know, a-gps uses telco service, right? after i deleted as what advised before & go to 'positioning > positioning server', 'access point' shows 'must be defined'. i believe if i were to use a-gps, i MUST NOT delete all the telco's streaming profile. need you view on this... hmm.gif hmm.gif
