China did a good job...it looks exactly like our tube except the software..but i think its possible to cheat pple with this...so beware, buy from reputable sellers and also test before you buy!

u see the software u know...and if u didnt notice, the fake tube accelerometer like cacat and when it turn on and off the phone, too fast..ours take time cos its real OS inside, not paria kind...also take note of the camera, ours dont ask to save or clear when u take picture..it straight save..so thats enough to tell.

this may be true but i think for average consumer, they might not know about this and also might get cheated by this china phone..imagine if the seller price is competitively and sell the china phone..i think pple may not suspect unless the buyer got do his/her homework like checking out our great thread here and such.

1) Hacked phone basically can install ANY signed or unsigned apps without requiring cert
2) You can see the C: and Z: and change files that you want in C: (Z: cant because it is ROM)

With no 2) you can basically install stuff like vodafone homescreen, orange homescreen, etc..also you would feel a sense of achievement because not that many people actually hack their phone..so its cool to do it..haha...oh but it voids warranty...but dont worry, if u need to claim for warranty just uninstall the hack, then only send..no issues

u can google for the difference, actually if u just hack your phone you wont see the difference. only can see difference if u hack the camera compression settings in the internal C drive (or get the camera MOD file) then you will see a minor improvement. You won't see a huge improvement but definitely got improvement. But its quite hard to get a proper comparison unless you're able to take the photo in the same EXACT position , one with the camera mod and one without. Because the moment you move a bit, the lighting will be different (then the ISO will be different and so on). So its quite difficult to get a proper comparison, but rest assured, it is better because the camera mod disables the compression entirely..currently if not mistaken the compression is 85% quality (so there's still 15% compression or so)...with the camera mod, the quality will be 100% (0% compression) so guarantee the quality is better. May not be that noticeable to human eye but if you're particular with it, you *might* notice...try it out and see..for me I did notice difference but not that major, yet acceptable to me..haha

anyone using class 4 microsdhc? I'd like ot know hows the movie performance, is it smooth or laggy?

i'm planning to get 16gb one plus my original class 6 nokia a bit cacat, got bad sector and always corrupted even after format to fat32..and my warranty for the microsdhc just expired...i look everywhere and found that 16gb only have class 4 selling from kingston which is the highest speed..at least good to know movies doesn't lag, that's most important

could be corrupted files in your memory card. put into mass storage mode and do chkdsk from windows see if got corrupted files or not. fix it if got.

did u check your settings for the camera? maybe its just some settings problem.

dude, if you use custom firmware then send to ncc sure will void warranty..unless u put back original firmware before send to ncc..that is if you're able to. otherwise, if you're afraid, don't try custom firmware lor...its like u want to speed but scared kena tangkap by police
