are u sure u got it from OVI?

above is my screenshot compared with ures, mine also the original v40.0.005 got from OVI in January .. it's all stock except the red arrow is the only file needs to be flashed together with the firmware, that means, u'll ignore the blue ones ..

Added on February 10, 2010, 4:10 pmi never flashed the 8th and 8h from PNHT, mine is the 1st up there .. however u still need the original firmware (the whole pack intact wen u flash)

u cant flash just the hack read 2nd page FP i posted the notes in red, if u need 8th feb, just copy paste and overwrite the file

So the first firmware is like normal firmware la, without additional fancy stuff like special effects etc right? So that one got chinese? Functions the same as normal v40.0.005 except it's hacked?

Oh 1 more question, if hardreset after flashing, the hack still intact right?

- The 1st one at the post has chinese, has ROM Patcher but no effect or additionals.
- The hack remains, if u lost ROM Patcher, just re-install ROM Patcher .. done

Yes it is intact, but the ROMpatcher might be missing like in my case. According to Xploit, you just have to reinstall the ROMpatcher, no need to reflash.

It's okay to reinstall rompatcher+ as long as it's hacked. BTW in case new firmware (maybe v40.0.100 etc) is released by nokia, can we update it?

indeed.. its ori frm ovi which it was downloaded by OVI suite to flash my phone.. FYI, mine is SG set.. not MY.. i think this makes the diff.. BTW, wat's ur pheonix version? all 2009 version r d same?

Anyone got any idea when new firmware out?

XM..i've download "v40.0.005 + Hacked ROM" and "Firmware PNHT Relase 09th February 2010"..i,ve extracted both, and put "Firmware PNHT Relase 09th February 2010" into "v40.0.005 + Hacked ROM" folder..but it didn't replace any file..is it right?

replace / rename RM-356_40.0.005_prd.rofs2.V22 and the one with .fpsx extension only

i just discover that my calculator isnt working perfectly...
when i key in the digits, it doesnt show up until i press the "=,+,/,*" symbol...

get what i meant?

eg : i want to calculate 123 + 456 = 579
i press 123. it wont show "123" on the screen until i press "+". followed by pressing 456, it wont show "456" on the screen until i press "=".

any solution?
