According to the below link, warranty is not void when u flash with JAF or phoenix. On a side note, should I use JAF or Phoenix if I want to flash the hacked firmware?

I want to flash my phone to the hacked firmware from PNHT. But my warranty still got 6 months and I'm worried I'll brick the phone. But after updating to v40 and losing HelloOx hack and the unique theme effects, I really want to hack the phone. Is it likely to brick the phone during flashing?

Oh what i meant was, hacking v40 with PNHT firmware. The first step was to compile the hacked rom and the original firmware together. And whether the file posted there can be used for my phone which has a different product code. Thanks for your help

I successfully flashed my phone to the hacked firmware before 8th feb. It is the APAC red version. My phone's original is blue version. I have encountered frequent hangs on my phone, will reformat and hard reset after flashing help?
Thanks |

I hard reset my phone and the ROMpatcher is gone T.T
But it still remained as red APAC version. I thought this version won't disappear after hard reset? Will it be safe to re-flash my phone? |

Update! I tried to reflash my phone but unlike the first time, it failed. And the phone restarted. And the ROMpatcher is back o.o
Xploit, can you please upload the ROMpatcher file here? I'm not sure which version should i download. Thanks |

Yes it is intact, but the ROMpatcher might be missing like in my case. According to Xploit, you just have to reinstall the ROMpatcher, no need to reflash.
