@lee: not really...i recall the symbian^3 requirement spec require a graphic chip now..so nokia's typical ARM 434Mhz for their touch screen i don think can use symbian^3, however since they skip symbian^2, maybe they changed the hardware requirement a bit, or made it more flexible..but i do hope it will require a graphic chip..then at least it would have moderate 3D rendering power, which in the end would result in apps to have eye candy, and games also look cooler..hehe

@astria: probably also, a light weight linux distro or something

chrome on 4.8'' screen, that just doesnt feel right...
i think it's a modified linux la..anyways, do not expect a lot of apps to come with it..so naturally it's incomparable to the ipad, with the app store existing...

got offline mode...
but chrome os is highly dependent on cloud computing
many of the services/extensions are only usable when connection is there..
of cos...ppl in the west basically always have their connection wherever they go...

talk about a basic linux...
many distros do come out with basic version
w/o the candy effect
and able to run on very old machine...
such as xubuntu...
so if want to find a linux distro for the 4",
should not be a problem..

Well, from the SS of Chrome OS (from the name itself already stated), its actually just for browsing the Net with some features installed together with it nod.gif...

For a surfing computer, it would be a good choice as people only use it to surf the net and not doing anything else tongue.gif
