5470 has 80 shaders aka 16 sets of shaders. Performance isn't that good. I tried an Acer Timeline with a 4330 that has 80 shaders too, so performance will be as good as that. RV8xx uarch seems to be slower clock for clock compared to RV7xx, when shader amount is the same.

Both are more expensive after all.. I just want to enable Quadro on this 9600m GT.

that depends on which cooler u are using, i am currently using CM U2, the one that can adjust fan position, and i have adjusted my fans directly under the air vent, and the idle temp dropped from 62-63C to to 60C, sometimes 59C if the room is cold enough(hehe...), and as for load, not that much decrement...and recently i havent been playing intense games, just playing PS2 games with emulator, and that one is normally just 80C, cos it's just around 60-70-C GPU usage
but i recall last time i benched and it's down for 2C or so as well

Batusai, take N81Vp and overclocked its HD4650 to HD4670 XD

what about x83vp?? it has 4650 also wert..

and price is lower..

Basically, X83Vp is cheaper version of N81Vp
and X83Vp has HD4670...
It should be the rihanna version, blue cover with some umbrella and rain design imprinted..

but the new timeline series.. they are real good.. improved alot.. my bro is just a 4810tz.. and its serving him very well..
