clarify a bit...
9600M GT's desktop equivalent is 9500GT/8600GT... 32SP, 128-bit desktop 9600GT is 64SP, 256-bit (yeah, 256-bit for a mid-end card, same as the performance 9800s... NV was indeed desperate to do sth abt HD3800 at that time... my HD4650 (lower core/DDR clock than S57 already) can score 6.4k on 3D Mark 06 comfortably @ 1280x768... 9600M GT iirc is max 5.9k (as tested by owners in this thread) but heck, S42 is so darn cheap... Added on March 29, 2010, 2:58 pm QUOTE(Batusai @ Mar 29 2010, 01:00 PM) N81Vp latest using T9600 whole X83Vp uses P8700... mine is the earliest batch, using T9550.. . anyway, i would say, better go for others like 4820TG, Y460 and N82Jv... performance is still decent for N81Vp, but the new models are better at lower price as well... at the very least, u dun need to import... Yup, S42 is darn cheap and got nice GPU so, for mid-level gaming is recommended to get this laptop

As long you don't close the vent and give good airflow, I don't think it would overheating...
unless 9xC for you is overheating, that's another story.... |

@games4life:
my highest temperature record was 98C, with Bioshock 2, ultra overclocked settings(just recently)...or else it would say around 93C, and CoH can dump the temp to around 95C, and steadily increases to 97C after 2 hours gameplay..but that was before i get my heatsink fixed..after that i remember was around 94C max, and i didnt tried prolonged gameplay since then... |
