i love the trex 450, even on realflight ican pretty well hover the trex, but trex is too agile for me...

as for mini titan i heard it much more stable and easier to hover with...

maybe a titan first, and trex when im confident with myself... smile.gif

i saw titan se ARTF @ 2200+++ AT RCDREAMZ... so eexpensive meh!

electronics are prone to damages when u crash .. hard knocks can damage electronics although they may look good on the outside casing
one of my servos on my ex 4G3 oso died after crashing many times .. not died exactly but it only works intermittently and with less strength
i did buy a pack of 3 servos for the 4G3 .. used one and now keeping 2 as spare .. they are the same ones as the 4G6 using .. hehehehe

Try to do some research on the price of: servo, gyro, rudder servo, ESC, and Motor.... you'll be amaze that actually align had given a very good price.
Mini Titan = Plastic + Partial CNC
Trex = CF + Almost all CNC

A servo can cost from RM15 - 120/pc
Gyro from RM45 - 1200
ESC + Motor from RM250 - RM800/set

In M'sia... even a RM500 clone T450Pro don't worth to buy as after added up everything to ARTF almost can get a Original ALIGN.
If don't like ALIGN electronics, can sell it off anyway... many buyers out there. (After selling everything off, the kit itself might be cheaper than the Clone)

I heard that there's no difference between clone and align, so QiW, why not clone? tongue.gif

actually imchoosing titan over trex is not really about the parts or brand, but the ability to hovering easier.

guys, any exprerience with http://www.rc711.com ?

no experience with rc711 ... but quite reputable so should be ok
hovering ah ??
like i said .. u can alter the behaviour of the heli using the radio
why not clone ??
why clone when align is about the same price ?? plus the align electronics are quite good already especially the gyro

Aiya, too late to read your reply. I have ordered a pack of 3 last night. Otherwise I can buy from you.
But as I know there are variant of V1 & V2 for 4G3's servo, which one is yours? I think V1 servo cannot directly install on 4G6.

If you read some forum, the clone outlook is not much difference... but the measurement is not as accurate, example: dhe diameter for bearing block will be out by little, screw hole not accurate, main shaft diameter not accurate, etc.....

I once bought things from RC711 before... good services....

Slapshock, my advice to you is try not to buy a beautiful or expensive one for your first 6CH CCPM, eventually it will crash a lot unless you say you don't mind lah tongue.gif

If I was crashing my Trex 450 Pro instead of BCPV2, I think I will go crazy already. hehehehehe, my opinion only ...... biggrin.gif

Get a cheaper one for your "crash course", but still I love my BCPV2 since it gave me a lot things and I learned a lot from this heli ....

huhu...so er... BELT CP...?

i went to a shop (this very reuptable guy) said that, its not about the brand or etc...its about how you set your heli, u give me trex or belt cp...both can hover stable, both can do good 3d, its the matter of setting.

It's up to your decision but personally I feel that a bit wasted to play a high-end heli by the time you know you are going to crash it frequently. hehehehe, I am not hard selling BCP but it could be a heli for entry level.

Ermmm I think if we compare Trex and BCP, you need to do some upgrades in order to hover stable like Trex ..... that's what I heard because I don't have Trex ...

Wow, long story to tell. BCP was my first heli and follow by 4G6. So I started with BCP first but for a first timer like me, I have 2 major, 1 minor crashes but still I could not hover with my poor skill and mentality on rc heli.

Fortunately some of them from this forum (Qiw & Cliffang) gave me a lot of ideas to continue with my progress and finally I did that.

Talking about the heli and Tx itself, it is basically all stock!!! I have never upgraded anything but I do read and watch a lot from others. You may search for "nuttcaze" or "alishanmao" from google and you may find quite a lot of information on BCP. Well, I learn the BCP setup from there also, those information are very helpful especially to a beginner like me biggrin.gif

Hmmm, me also spent a lot on parts this month but to you is nothing lah whistling.gif so i have dropped the order of 2801 Rx to buy servo for 4G6. Huahahahha, unless someone here want to buy my ESky 2.4GHz Tx and Rx then yahooooo, my 2801 Rx will be on the way again ....... icon_idea.gif

Yes, my BCP all stock part. Perhaps i played 4G6 before so the BCP to me is quite stable because I am comparing to a smaller heli.

Bigger size heli tends to be more stable.

If you want to listen my opinion I think you can order a small 6CH heli RTF package with good Tx (not necessary to be 4G6 tongue.gif), learn from there then only switch to 450 size or bigger one by just getting the kit and Rx only ......
The crash cost for a small heli is cheaper and easy to progress .....

I like "adjustable stick length", make you easy to adapt to the Tx.

Errrmmmm so far I can only hover for a short moment then aborted after I felt nervous.
But with all the stock parts on BCP, I doubt that you could do aggressive sport flying but you said before you don't like fancy fly style woh tongue.gif
Not to forget that the stock blade is a wooden one, for inverted flying should be OK maybe, hehehehehhe I will let you know once I tried .....

Depends on what kind of sport flying you are talking about lah ......
