i oso still have an ESKY with me .. nobody wants the king2 ... yet

my sukhoi-31 small only la .. wingspan 944mm .. hehehe
my other long term project has 57inches wingspan ...

the other 2 balsa planes died of technical faults ... not due to pilot error
1st one motor powerful but mounting not strong enuff ... front of plane exploded in midair
2nd one crashed due to dsm2 lock out ... sad.gif

What's the difference between rc heli and plane?
Which you would prefer to play more?

I guess the cost to play rc plane is cheaper than heli ....

My BCP needs to be "hospitalized" ....

Casualty report:
1.) Rotor blade gone
2.) flybar bend but now I bend it straight again ... so hopefully can use again
3.) Tail boom bend, gone.
4.) Main gear, big one gone.
5.) horizontal tail blade set broken, but I use glue to stick the plastic back.

Hopefully there won't be more when I replace the the parts later ..... sad.gif

aaahh ??
hands cannot tahan go spin up the heli la rite ??
dont say we did not tell u so ... hehehehe
crashes are NORMAL la in the heli world ..

the fun of flying plane and flying heli is different .. heli is more expensive to crash and repair
most foam planes are cheap to repair .. balsa planes mostly gone case if u crash or even if repairable will not be the same

Yalah, so gatal when I charged up the LiPo .... then thought that just simply spin the blade and lift up a bit loh, then suddenly dun know why (maybe I hit something) the blades broken apart and caused all these damages. You did tell me before lah, but the temptation is irresistable tongue.gif When a beautiful naked girl sleep beside you, what you think you would do? wahahahhaha

Hehehe, crash and repair are normal but this round I think I have to pay for around RM100 just for this gatal ..... sad.gif
So I am pretty agree with you that heli is more expensive to C&R.

blades do not fly apart by itself ...
ESKY does not come properly flight checked and u better do all the swash leveling as well a pitch checking yourself .. disconnect motor wires when u check pitch
oso check all the screws are tight and where locktite is required ... hehehe

Check the main shaft too....
After you replace the main gear... take the whole head off leaving the main shaft only... then spin up and see~

u have so many other parts bengkok/rosak ...
main shaft is one of the most common thing to bend .. more chances of main shaft bending compared to feathering/rotor/spindle shaft ... hahahhaaa
so yours 99.99% sure bengkok already one la

If that's the case I think I will take the main shaft out and check.
I have an idea of rolling the shaft on a flat surface, by doing that the you will know it is bend or not, good idea ar???

Like that also can... anyway you needed to take the whole head off too...
So normally for me, i'll just take the whole head off... and spin up.. like that little bit bend also will be visible to eyes~

Yes, you will see some shadowing effect if the shaft is bend. But is that true with a good shaft you won't see the shadowing at all?
