Be prepare to get some spare parts.
Most possible one would be blade, feathering shaft, main shaft, tail boom and for pretty sure, main gear (big one on top).

And another suggestion, DO NOT fly this at home!! tongue.gif

Also, you can remove the horizontal tail fin from your tail boom first. It does not help much in your flight but it is the part that easily break in a crash usually.

Don't talk about upgrade first. I suggest that you learn your hovering first and when everything look good then only you think about this.

Because if you upgrade now and crash here and there later it would be a bit wasted. Hehehe, make sure your training kit is tight enough with the connection/joint. I have experienced a slip-out before and causing a crash.

Post us your new toy later, the photo in duniarc looks attracting. biggrin.gif

SGD185 is way way too much to pay for GY240
for rm300 or lesser u can now get the GY401 which is way superior
alternatively u can try the align GP750 which is oso less than rm300 .. a step up from GY401 but sensitive to vibrations

mr daddo is right ... the stock gyro is good enuff for u to learn hovering and some FF
locktite the head parts .. and the tail parts
do not over tighten your gear and pinions .. check all electronics (pre-flight) every time after u plug in batt and b4 spooling up
be prepared for sweaty hands and shaking knees ... good luck !! huahahahahaa

The ori box still ok to use but you need to handle with care.
The hobby shop shipped BCPV2 to me without any good protection. Basically they just wrapped a layer of wrapping paper.
And then I also use the same box to bring my BCP back to my hometown last time. So far still no problem with it.
Hehehe, the hardcase for 450 size can get you another second hand BCPV2 already tongue.gif

Yes, I do. Without pitch gauge I cant imagine how am I going to setup my pitch and blade.

I have one bought from rcdreazz but later I found that it is too expensive, I can get it for 10 bucks from mymegastation, but you need to check for stock availability

If you don't want to spend much on this there is actually a paper craft pitch gauge available online. Just download the template and print it out to make your own paper pitch gauge. But that one intended for 4G3 tongue.gif Maybe you can enlarge and try for 450 heli

yeah, i have two offer, futaba 6ex 2.4ghz and Spektrum dx6i both w/o receiver for sgd150.

But, you said dx6i was better so im getting it although i dont really like the toys look, imo compared to futaba, futaba looks more 'pro' leh.

The dx6i does have subtrim and heli mode aight? Does it worth getting the toy look for its funtion?? Haha.

Also, where to get the cord for me to practice with G4? Anywhere selling?

Regarding buying kit.

I'll need -

3x servo
1x fast servo for tail
1x brushless motor
1xesc
1xgyro

A set of tools.

Care to give me which models, say i want budget one but good enough for sport flying smile.gif
Whats a bind plug for dx6i?

Thanks guys.

Blind plug is just a connector with wire connecting the 1st and 3rd pin of the dean. It is used for binding the RX with TX... you'll only need to do it once with each new RX... Just like pairing bluetooth devise.
