QUOTE(Bean17 @ May 9 2014, 12:21 PM) Hi guys , Anyone cares to shed some lights?I just saw you guys mentioning the minimum STPM CGPA to enter some of the engineering courses , but how about the CCA part? Since I wasn't really that active during Form 1 to 3 , so my koko grade wasn't that high for SPM. The most i can get is a B for STPM Will my chances still be high to enter the competitive engineering course providing if I hit the CGPA for STPM but only with a koko grade of B? Hmm , after a thorough research , I've changed my mind and it's Chemical Engineering. Thanks. |

Physics was the toughest subject for me, I find its hard to understand it although I got A+ for it for SPM. But I'm still going for engineering(Petroleum Eng.) because both my father and my sister are working in Oil&Gas company.
Any seniors here had the same problem? Had problems to understand Physics but still did well? |

QUOTE(thpace @ May 13 2014, 11:25 AM) Plenty of job opportunities for Civil & Structural. What are you looking at? Consultant? Construction? Join Developer?Years of Experience?, Educational Background? I am currently working in Australia but I knew a number of senior engineers working in Malaysia. According to them, there is plenty of working opportunities. |

I have a question that even myself cant answer, okay, i have strong interest in automotive, computers and designing (arts but i have only a slight talent), actually i decided to be a computer hardware engineer but automotive seems more promising as i like how engine works and how to improve and pump more torque and horsepower to the backwheels and make it turn moon upside down in 5 seconds, i love physics and math but i failed my add math as i cant remember the formulas, my teacher is trying to help me memorize formulas but i am bad at memorizing but i can memorizing how a engine or a computer part works, maybe of strong interest, but the thing is here, i cant remember add math formulas but i love physics, math. My english teacher told me i should go for writing but i love physics and math more than english, can anyone help me?
i m a form 5 student now excel in physics, chemistry, english, add math (only in homework) and ICT This post has been edited by XyzionzX: May 20 2014, 02:56 PM |

Take your first choice, computer hardware engineering.i m a form 5 student now excel in physics, chemistry, english, add math (only in homework) and ICT Automotive is promising but I don't see that is what you want, so, just ignore that choice. Love math or physics doesn't mean you will love engineering. |

If, you like hardware, you will make it as hobby and modding things like keyboards, raspberry pi, modding firmware to suits your hardware etc. |
